About this listen

Now a Top 100 Amazon Best Seller

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes a new friends-to-lovers, MC romance about the asshole biker next-door and the girl who loves him....

He moved in next door.
Handsome as sin, older in a way that meant forbidden.
He had tattoos on his hands and wickedness tucked in his grin.
I was a goner as girl to a man they called Casanova for a reason. He would never love me, at least not the way I needed him to.
I tried to move on. But I couldn’t turn my back on him or The Fallen MC.
So when they needed me most, I offered the only thing of value I could use to help them.
My body.
And when helping them meant putting my life on the line, Nova had to decide just how much he was willing to do to get me out alive.

A stand-alone friends-to-lovers age-gap romance in The Fallen Men series.

A favorite in the Fallen Men series!

I loved this book so much!

Nova and Lila were the sweetest, hottest, best thing ever and I could not get enough of them! Being back with the entire Fallen Men family was just everything I was missing and I loved seeing them all in Entrance again so much! Getting to see Zeus and his family again, ugh I just love them all so much. Lila is just 5 when she meets Nova, her new neighbor’s son. He becomes fast friends with her older brother, being 12 years older than her, but becomes a sort of protector to young Lila. His family ends up taking in both Lila and her older brother when their lives get out of control, becoming their foster family. Since Nova is so much older than Lila they barely ever live in the same house and don’t get together as more until she’s 23 and he’s 35. And the angst and caretaking and love between these 2 is just everything! I loved how he tattooed her for years, calls her “Flower Child”, and just all the shared history between them. I love Lila’s friendship with Harleigh Rose over the years and Zeus caring and protecting her too. This whole family is just so special.

“Because damn him for loving me like that, so much, but platonically. Always platonically. How could a girl ever be expected to move on from a man who would do anything to keep her safe? He planted flowers all over my body, inside the cage of my ribs, in the fertile soil of my heart, yet he never noticed how they bloomed just for him.”

Nova baby 🤤💜

Ahhhhhhh my Nova!!!! I love him so much 😭😩 he was Lila’s protector throughout her entire life and it was so sweet to watch him realize how much he actually cared about her. The secret messages in her tattoos 😭😭 .. like literally rip out my heart and just write “property of Nova Booth” on it

Lila!!! My strong brave girl!!! She was willing to sacrifice everything for the family she found. I also loved how much she loved Nova despite thinking he would never return those feelings for her; she was going to be true to her man regardless of the outcome.

I really enjoyed the overarching plot in this one as well .. the side characters, especially Dane, really captured my heart & I hope we get to see more of them

Loveeee Nova and Lila

5/5 ⭐

I've been unaliving for this story since the very beginning when we see Lila pining after Nova and him just bringing his name to life... And boy, it did not disappoint. This story was absolutely everything. I loved the way Giana wrote it as we jump through their lives during pivotal moments until they finally get together. It was so well done and I couldn't get enough.

Nova's broken bits hurt my soul so much... You see this boy from this amazing family and wonder where this darkness comes from, that it has to be more than feeling like a black sheep when his family is the kind one can only dream of... And when you find out, you want to scream and cry for him. Is it as awful as Lila's childhood? Probably not... But as a man who's family means everything to him, it's so heartbreaking. I'm just so thrilled we got the epilogue we did and got to see him healed in all the best ways.

Lila was amazing. Was she ridiculous for taking the risks she did? Probably. But like Nova, her family means the world to her and she'd go down like the bad a m f she is to protect them and I loved her for it.

The audio was amazing. I forgot just how deep and delicious Aiden Snow's voice is, but he was so perfect for Nova, I loved it. Stephanie Nemeth-Parker was so good too, I just loved this listen.

Beyond Amazing

Giana Darling, you’ve done it again. The love story between Dane and his sister Lila, the love story between Dane, Jonathan and Lila and the ultimate love story between Lila and Jonathan was beyond intense and beautiful. Love like this is never ending and something that we all want but don’t always get. This book pulls you in to the point that you forget about everything else. This is a must read book!

Best in the series!!!

Ok, so I've read 3 in the series so far and not in order. but this has been the best by far! The trauma, the hope, the SEX! This one was different than the other too. Not so much hard-core lust, which there was, but endearing love. I'm a sucker for the bad boy brooding torment that Nova exudes. How they came together and it was so innocent and stayed that way for a long time. SO much happens but it was all peiced together so perfectly. the Epilogue and bonus epilogue were perfection. A glorious end to a masterpiece of Lila and Nova's love. Definite must read/listen! You won't be disappointed

Another great addition to the Fallen Men

I am so glad I finally started reading The Fallen Men series and have read them in order. I've gotten to know Casanova, the man that oozes sex and bad boy, and knew that the woman that was going to bring him to his playboy knees was going to have to be something special. And special she was.

Lila is someone that has been in Jonathon/Nova's life since they were kids. Having lived next door with her brother Dane, they all had a connection until tragedy brought Dane and Lila even closer to Jonathon. They all became foster siblings of sorts. But Lila, being the younger sister, had this crush on her brother's best friend. We get to see the past relationship these two had for the first 1/4 or so of the book and it really helps to establish their connection and Lila's unrequited love for a man that is older than her AND her brother's best friend.

Inked in Lies starts in the past, goes forward to Lila giving up ever having a chance with Nova to her giving up a piece of herself to give to the Club in order to help them and from there, that brings her and Nova closer and where he can't ignore his attraction to the girl that is now all grown up. A little forced proximity you say? Yes! and just what these two need!

I really liked Nova and Lila together. When they came together, it was fireworks and made me so happy for Lila and all the years she pined away. Yes, I usually HATE that, but I knew this one was going to be worth it. The angst, the club, the background storyline and a surprise twist at the end (that unfortunately I saw coming with the huge crumbs constantly being left) made this story exciting and a great addition to the series. That and the camaraderie that Lila has with the other woman biker babes is just perfection.

Giana Darling knows her age gap romances and likes to make us work for it. I love the world she has created with The Fallen Men motorcycle club in British Columbia and how all the stories flow so well from one story to the next. Yes, this could be read as a standalone, but trust me when I say, you'll want to read this in order and fall in love with them all. Inked in Lies made me fall in love with Nova and realize there was much more to him than his pretty boy ways. And if you're an audio lover, this one might be one of my favorite performances. The narrators knocked it out of the park with their portrayals of Nova and Lila. Can't wait to read the next book.
