Story
Matthew's life takes a crazy turn when a simple holiday visit turns into a crazy adventure. Swapping his marketing desk for an unexpected inheritance—the bookstore left behind by his uncle—he's led to a hidden portal. This isn't just any portal; it leads to a realm. A new world of dungeons, quests, and game-like mechanics. Matthew emerges on the other side to find himself not only in the realm of Dunnishire but also as a Royal Duke in the land of Inneshys. As he navigates courtly life, he inadvertently sets off ripples that threaten to disrupt the delicate balance in the new world.

For a time, all necromancers were put down before they could gain levels or power.

Story
Mark’s new life begins in the worst possible place—a burned-out village haunted by undead. Each morning these ravenous creatures disappear, only to return at night, driven by a relentless hunger. He'll need to stay low and think quick, because trapped and alone in the body of a child, he can’t level up in this new world. At least not yet. Soon Mark will learn that even among the living, safety isn’t guaranteed. When the small town that he ends up in turns out to be at the center of a conspiracy that threatens the world, he'll need to uncover the truth before it's too late.

Sixty-seven years ago the Qash'vo'tar conquered Earth. Ever since then, the aliens had ruled from above. The Qash'vo'tar did not care what humanity did on the ground, as long as they didn't attempt to build anything that could get them to the stars. And now, sixty-seven years after they had been conquered, it was time for humanity to show the Qash'vo'tar that they had been right to fear humanity.

My life took a turn I never expected on the day the world ended. Suddenly forced to fight in a bloody arena by a faceless System, I find the only way to survive is to win. I’m told that ten victories in the arena will give me my freedom, but if I’m going to get there, I’ll need a crack team of hardened allies to fight with me. What I got instead was a bratty college girl with a jealousy streak, a momma’s boy roommate who now inhabits the body of a piglet, and a devastatingly gorgeous teacher whose sword is as sharp as her tongue.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

In just seven days, the world will crumble. The System's Descent will usher in a new era of chaos: wild animals mutating, monstrous creatures emerging, and the cessation of modern technology. Story
Zane was driving home from work when the world changed. Thousands of dungeons spawned at once, taking up every inch of Earth—including the road he’s driving on. He wakes up to a totaled car and a broken leg, facing down a goblin trying to spear him through the guts. And that's just the start of it. But to Zane’s surprise, he finds himself enjoying this brutal new world. While others cower and hide, he goes on the hunt. He unlocks a unique Berserker skill—the more damage he takes, the stronger he gets.

Publisher's summary
Who is she, really?
When Alister uncovers a hidden dungeon, Matthew takes a chance to bury the hatchet with his enemy. Proposing a portal network to connect places in both worlds raises some eyebrows as it's very difficult and expensive to do. Still, Dunnishire lost much of its settled areas in wars over the last century. With the power to cross the country, Matthew envisions not only a portal network but also a network of dreams—a school and an orphanage. Yet, dreams require funds, driving him to work to become stronger and wealthier.
This time, trouble finds Matthew, Neera, Alana, and Princess on Earth. Hoping to stay ahead of the wave of problems that follow them, they still run the dungeon to progress and grow their stats and levels... all the while enjoying a nice Duke's Own hamburger from their favorite tavern.
Should the challenges be too tough, Matt encounters an unexpected twist while visiting a new barony. Confronted with a pivotal choice, he faces the possibility of disrupting the stability he's starting to find or embarking on a path towards unimaginable wealth and opportunities. Embracing uncertainty, Matthew forges ahead on his journey in A Game of Two Worlds.
Inneshys is a progression fantasy with grownups who act like grownups. They drink, they swear, they make bad jokes, and they fall in love. What's not in this book? Sex scenes. Graphic or otherwise. There are plenty of jokes and innuendoes about it, however.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

This is the story of Dan—a high school dropout who plays guitar in a heavy metal band and has a minimum wage job wearing a mouse costume. He's not exactly destined for great things. Then Dan wakes up in another world—a world where science never progressed past the Middle Ages, and the laws of physics have been replaced by role-playing game rules. Dan makes some mistakes—some big mistakes. Dan becomes a Death Knight: a walking personification of death and darkness. Now, Dan must fight monsters, zealots, and demons just to survive, and he must do it all alone.

classic Boyd, better ending than the 1st one :)
Second books can be tricky and uneventful. This book did a great job of moving and growing the plot. The characters get filled in a bit and the authors voice shines through well. Fun book.
