About this listen

I didn't think pulling off for a quick bite to eat in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere would change everything. I was wrong.

Now, I'm running through the forest wearing nothing but a red cloak, being hunted by wolves.

I don't know what in the f----d up Red Riding Hood role-play is going on here, but I'm desperate, terrified, and not ready to die. When they attack, I know this is it.

Except…it isn't.

Because the den of wolves that bite me somehow turns into men. Men who swear I'm just like them—a shifter. And as much as I don't want to believe them, I'm not sure they're wrong.

There's a wildness brimming inside me, something monstrous that's threatening to break loose. The den claims they can help me tame it, but they're not the only ones out here in the woods.

Someone trying to drag me from the moonlight into the dark. And it's going to take everything I am, everything I'm becoming, to stop them.

Apparently I’ve been missing out..

This was my first wolf/shifter book and I was nervous that it would be cringy or predictable. However, the story pulled me in fast and I found myself not wanting to take my headphones off.

Surprisingly, the least realistic thing in this book isn’t the fact that there’s wolves, vampires, and witches. It’s that the FMC doesn’t give into her 4 overprotective, super hot, rich, extremely caring mates the whole time. Like girl, who are you kidding?? I would’ve caved halfway in.

All jokes aside, I thought it was a well paced slow burn. I was extremely disappointed to find out that book two isn’t out yet. I’m going to be thinking about this book for awhile!

As for the narration, I could listen to June forever. She was so great, I’m going to look up more audios read by her! Lee did amazing as well. I’m always happy to see his name attached to an audiobook! Both narrators were a perfect fit. 10/10!!

Loved it.

Lots of suspense and surprises. The narrators voices help make the book come alive. Great shifter series.

Love this Why Choose Wolf Shifter Romance

5 ⭐ 2 🌶 5 🎧

Why Choose Wolf Shifters? YES PLEASE. This was such a fantastic start to this story. I am loving Noah's mysterious past and the possibility of her rejecting her mates. The action and suspense and spice are there too, keeping me enthralled from beginning to end.

The ending was a huge cliffhanger that has me wondering if it's February yet... I can't wait to see what happens next for this pack.

The audio was fantastic. Lee Samuels and June deBorahae both did wonderful jobs narrating these characters and I'm so excited for more.

The best retelling of Little Red Riding Hood that I've come across ❤️🐺❤️

From the moment I laid eyes on the gorgeous cover of this book, I knew I had to have it. I'm a huge fan of retellings, so I had a feeling that this one would be right up my alley. The story kicks off with a powerful and gripping start that immediately drew me in. I found it refreshing that the FMC initially resisted the mate bond instead of immediately jumping into it, which made the story more realistic and relatable. While the romance unfolds at a slow pace, once things start to heat up, it's undeniably steamy 🥵I may or may not have developed a slight obsession with the male characters, and I wouldn't mind having them as my own personal harem! Overall, this is hands down the best retelling of Little Red Riding Hood that I've come across, and I can not recommend it enough. Needless to say, I'm eagerly anticipating the next book in the series.

Racy but Good Story

There were some racy parts but not too much like Asher’s Sentinel series. This one has a pretty good story. She must have a thing for multiple guys on one girl. I’m seeing a pattern here. This story wasn’t too overly sexualized and at least there’s only 4 to 1 instead of like 7 to 1. 7 guy mates were too many to keep names straight. Four is more tolerable for character development.

Drawn out.

Finished it but am disappointed. Felt like it was going on forever. MFC irritating andcnot enough POV from the male characters. Skipped through a lot of this book. Will be returning it. Inner monologuevof FMC drove me up the wall. Wasted credit.
