About this listen

A terrible massacre was uncovered...did the same fate befall Sumer?

Captain Brian Royce brings Hadad to his home planet, which shows obvious signs of battle. Did any of his family survive? Where are all the children; did the Zodarks take them?

Admiral Miles Hunt finds himself appointed to a new position beyond his current skill set. He now has to become more than just a ship captain and fleet commander: he must become the Viceroy of the Milky Way Galaxy.

On Alpha Centauri, an archaeology team makes a discovery that sends shockwaves through the Republic - a discovery so profound it could cause a division and a potential split within the alliance.

The newly deployed Second Republic Army Group on the planet Intus finds itself the vanguard of the alliance’s efforts to liberate the remaining Primord planets. As the Zodark forces are continually pushed back, the alliance edges closer to bringing the war to the enemies’ core worlds.

Can Miles Hunt become the leader humanity needs him to become? And will the Second Republic Army Group survive a gruesome battle on a frozen planet?

Wild mashup that works!

Loved Rosone’s Monroe Doctrine and other series, so decided to give this a try. Imagine if Tom Clancy decided to write a sci fi series that crammed Battlestar, Expeditionary Force, Stargate, Starship Troopers, and anything else that came to mind into a huge epic that explores human origins and our future. That is this series. It borrows heavily from a crap load of sources, and guess what? It works out great! Loads of fun- blowing thru this series at max warp! Great performances as well.

Good book, but a little slow in places.

This is a good book, but sometimes the descriptions are a bit too detailed. I also find the multiple plots hard to remember when I only read this during my exercise for 30 minutes a day.

Everything from characters to plot to the worlds is perfectly crafted to immerse you into the story right there with them.

Origins

This is is a most interesting take about the origins of our species. The mystery expands from one star system, and beyond.

Fun SciFi Series

I have enjoyed all 4 books in this series. You will have to manually read books 5 and 6. What gives Audible?

Engrossing

Still loving this story! Super captivating and a cool take! I feel like he could keep this universe going and going. Read a lot of sci-fi and I can’t put my finger on but this story, in particular, has just hooked me more than most!

From personal relations to galactic battles

Not many book series deal with the mico interplay of individuals, to galactic inter-species battles. I find it entertaining.

Keep it coming!

This series stands apart from most space epics due to its meticulous research, solid footing on very real world concepts, and completely realistic and believable military core. If you get distracted or frustrated with magical and unrealistic stories about space empires, this series will be a very believable and exciting alternative to the standard.
