About this listen

The complete series in a single offering!

Save the fae, save the world

In the magic lands of the Fae Wild, the Goblin King's virility is the lifeblood of the realm. But an insidious curse has put the kingdom on the precipice of a population panic.

Enter Thomas Stone: architect, engineer, and unknowing half-blood heir to the goblin throne.

Whisked away to a world where baby-making makes the world go round, Thomas finds himself in a pickle thicker than goblin stew. Birth rates are dropping faster than a fairy on a bad flight path, and it’s up to Thomas to save the fae from themselves.

With the help of a manic pixie–er, goblin dream girl, and an adorable pink-haired assassin, Thomas has to rally the troops, charm the locals, and kickstart a baby boom like no other.

Let the breeding bonanza begin!

This is what I'm talking bout!!

This is what I expect from fantasy book sex scenes, GOD DAMN. You need to teach a class cus some writers don't know how to write these scenes. and the story is pretty fun and cozy as well. 10/10

Super fun ride

This was a very fun book full of magical creatures and varied magic mechanics. The ... Hmmm ... relationships were pretty interesting and super hot. I would love to see a continuation of this series. There's still a ton of stuff (and queens) to explore... 😁

Surprised that I ended up liking the plot more than the smut.

Honestly, this one surprised me. I like civ builder games. And I like erotic fiction. Putting the two together scratched an itch I didn’t know I had.

But then what really surprised me about this series was how the authors really know their audience and know what their audience expects and then subverts those expectations in surprising ways. Like, at first glance it looks like the main character has plot armor and that everything just conveniently works out for the MC, but then I stopped to think about it and I realized that every major win the MC had came about as a result of thoughtful planning and actions taken. This is a story told from the perspective of a ruler. Someone who runs things and gives orders. Not someone who gets into the mix to fight directly. Too many times in fantasy that features royalty as a protagonist we have the warrior king who fights on the front lines with his armies. But in reality the skills to be a great warrior are completely separate from the skills needed to be an effective ruler. And this story did a surprisingly good job of showcasing that. It actually got to a point where I was more interested in the political maneuvering and civ building aspects of the story than the smut, of which there was A LOT most of it high quality.

Not terrible, but not great

Look, I get that anyone reading spicy stuff isn't expecting Tolkien level worldbuilding, and that's fair. However, I expect a narrator to be able to pronounce words correctly. The second issue is that there's too much monotone.
