Pretty good

This isn't the best harem series I've ever read, but it's not bad. There is clearly an epic and mysterious tale involved here behind this struggle for survival. My only real complaint is that the wild girl seems completely unrealistic, despite the attempts to make her seem not knowledgeable about modern culture.

Great story!

Great story! Very well done. Only downside is that it doesn’t have the original voice actress for Aubrey in it. She sounds way too valley girl. The original actress was WAY BETTER! Bring her back please!

a fun island rump

I have been waiting for this book to come out to listen to as soon as I finished the first.
the story follows of course the same hooks as the first but expands on things and adds new threats.
my only real issue being there was a spot or two that had clear audio sections missing.
I decided not to remove points due to it. though may next time if the next book has similar issues.

otherwise if you want a survival story and harem stuff this book will hit the itch.

I don't know

I don't know overall it's not a bad story. The narration team is phenomenal. I already bought book 3 so I guess I'll listen to it but if it sounds like I'm not super excited it's because I'm not really hooked on the story. It is different from what I normally read. I just because I have not had the problem where I can't put it down doesn't mean that it's not a good book it just means it's not a great book. that of course is only my opinion.

solid entry in this promising series

Another solid entry in this Lost meets Robinson Crusoe meets Tamer series. new islands are discovered, new survivors are introduced, and new Mysteries are in need of solving. Thumbs up!

most of the survivors are ladies in bikinis, so Harem elements are here if that troubles you. You can mostly skip the stuff you find cringy so it's worth your while.

Would be perfect... except for the missing chapter

I'm hoping this is just a glitch and Audible will get it fixed quickly, but I was listening to this last night and there was an inexplicable jump in the story and the actions being described didn't make sense. Sure enough, chapter six is completely missing so the story leaps from the group about to enter a giant whirlpool at the end of Chapter 5 to a good bit afterwards at the beginning of Chapter 7, with one of the best action scenes in the book cut out as a result. I checked on one of my other Kindle Fires and then re-downloaded the book again to be sure, but in all cases that chapter is just AWOL.

What the point of this book

Maybe I’m just dumb, but this book just seems, plain and no real unique story, it generic, and I don’t even know who the villain is or what’s there purpose?? Just very confusing and a bit boring, great performance tho, but that’s the only good thing I have to say about this book, overall this is a “basic bitch” book

More mysteries of the deep to contemplate

I am glad to see that the cast is expanding and thinking about where they are. Curious to see what the King is, and to learn what the dark stones are meant for.

Will be looking forward to hearing the next book.
