Great story and narration!

Savannah Richards is an excellent narrator! I have listened to several books by her, and she is always right on with the characters. She really makes the book come alive.

I loved the characters in this book. Grayson is hot, tough, a bit cocky and fun. I think he was referenced as a character in another Gena Showalter book, so I look forward to finding it. Jewell has had a tortured past, but she is a good ,compassionate person. I thought the story was interesting and I could not wait to get into the car and listen to the next installment! I really like this series. You don't have to listed to the books in order to enjoy them. Its worth the credit!

all her books

I really loved this book. It had the perfect pace and I loved the different take on how Atlantis was formed and why it sank. I loved how the hero and the heroine had a previous connection with one another, though I kind of wished that the connection was explained a little more. Like why it was Gray and not some other guy that Jewel connected with. I also loved how readers got to see what happened with Darius and Grace. It was also great that even though both Gray and Jewel thought that they would not be together, Jewel's determination not to let the fact that he was from the surface and she was from Atlantis stop them from being together. I also really enjoyed how we also got a look at more of the different creatures that live in Atlantis. It was just a truly touching story and an excellent read. Plus, Gena Showalter is one of my favorite authors.

another AMAZING story from my favorite author ❤️!

Another great story from the most amazing writer of supernatural romance. The story grabs your attention right from the first chapter. I'm also glad there is a different person reading the this book. the woman who read "Heart of the Dragon" was not easy to listen to as she had a bad cadence and obviously fake accent. Savannah was so enjoyable to listen to with a great distinction between characters. The story was fun and the characters had great chemistry. Thank you Gena for another great story in a fun and romantic series!

Entertaining & easy read

The narrator was easy to listen to. The author did a great job of making the characters witty, sarcastic and funny which the narrator easily captured and portrayed. This is an easy read that will suck you into the story and not want to put it down.

Was skeptical.

I was skeptical about this series. This is the first in the Atlantis series that I have tried. It was a little slow in the beginning, but once you got caught up in the characters, it was a good listen. The narrator did the voices well, but some of her other inflections were a little harder to listen to. Overall, I think it was worth the credit.

Jewel of Atlantis

The combination of humor and a great imagination didn't let me put this story down. I've read several of Ms. Showalter's books and keep looking forward to more.

So awkward.

I found Gray to be a very ick inducing mmc. He constantly made me cringe and made things pervy and weird. I could not stand the fmc accent and everytime I heard it, it made me clench my teeth. If every chapter hadn't been so heavily covered with sexual flirting and awkwardness the idea and plot would have been good.

Jewel's backstory was interesting and I wanted to know more. I also wanted to know more about her family and her weird strange mental connection to Gray. it never explained why they were connected and saw visions on each other for years. I felt like the author was so stuck on this being a sexual romance fantasy that she missed her main goal.

The ending was unsatisfying for me. yay she's part of every race species so they can stay together on the surface but why is she made of everything!? so many unanswered questions which sucks because the potential is under all that cringy badness.

Couldn't read due to language

Any additional comments?

I don't know why writers, either TV or books, find it necessary to use G** or G**D*** as expletives in their writing. Not just use them but use them excessively. I usually enjoy Gena Showalters story lines and writing but there isn't a need to use that in writing. in the first 5 minutes there were multiple uses.
