Publisher's summary

The Associate is at it again. His intent? To carry out the most daring raid ever against one of the largest gold mines in the world.

Deep in the forests of Ghana, drone technology, so out of place its almost alien, crushes the hardened defenses. What follows is a game of cat and mouse through the jungle.

The theft is so vast that the president can't ask even his most loyal allies to recover it. And so he turns to Max. Max and his team of highly trained specialists are people he thinks he can trust.

Can Max and his "A-team" of specialists respond in time and intercept the gold in a remote jungle? All the while a corrupt enemy tries to hold on to the value and power that it would bring.

Is The Associate trying to topple the president because he wants to put a puppet in power, or does he have even grander aims?

Jungle Heist. A gipping tale of gold, guns, and gallantry set in the deepest jungles of Africa. Its an explosive story of how criminals really could use current technology to pull off the greatest physical robbery of all time. Jungle Heist is written by the guy who has spent his working life defending against them.

Unique Thriller

There is nothing more daring than robbing the largest gold mine in the world and that is exactly what The Associate has planned. Max and his team of specialists have been hired by the President of Ghana to recover the gold. Is gold the only thing The Associate is after?

Once again, the author, Rob Phayre keeps his listeners spellbound with nail-biting action. Creative plot twists, danger, and advanced technology rule this story. Phayre creates a vivid story with daring situations and realistic characters that are fully developed and add more suspense to the story. Drawn in, one cannot simply press stop and walk away from this audiobook. One is simply compelled to stay until the end.

The narrator, Ian Fisher once again captures and portrays each character exposing their depth and secrets. His polished voice is smooth and moves the story forward at a steady pace. He speaks clearly with a steady and flawless cadence.

In summary, this is a book that is a well-written and gripping story with moments of spine-tingling suspense. I highly recommend this series.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook.

Another great Novel by Rob Phayre

This book transports you to the deepest jungles of Africa for another fast paced and thrilling military adventure. There is suspense, action and a returning cast of great characters from the first book in the series, The Ransom Drop. A real page turner….well the audio equivalent! Looking forward to the next novel in The Response Files series.
