About this listen

Getting tangled up with an Olympic rugby player seems like the perfect way to forget about how my life is falling apart. Until I discover he’s my ex-boyfriend’s best friend.

Logan Brown walked into my small town with a charming grin and mischief in his eyes. He’s a world-class flirt and his confident masculinity is almost as distracting as those rugby thighs.

Given my inexperienced history, I’m no match for our undeniable chemistry. I vow to keep him at arm’s length. But with Logan, every lingering stare—every forbidden touch—awakens something inside of me I thought I had buried for good.

We both know we shouldn’t cross that line, but I have spent my entire life being a good girl, and suddenly I’m tempted to be very, very bad.

Especially when Logan tells me to just say yes.

I have to say that I love MJ's story it's surprised me because well I just as a character I really wasn't invested in her like I was some of the other things but I really loved her story it's a story where the woman feels very insecure from past things that have happened and how she matures it's it's a great story and the male oh boy Mr Logan Brown he is hot like no other he is the perfect man I don't in athlete well built polite kind considerate and I think he's my new book boyfriend the way he's described in the story and presented in the story is just woo hot and I will say that the male narrator someone that I haven't really and not overly familiar with so he's newer to me he played him perfect like absolutely perfect he did an astounding job I just was very impressed with his narration well and I as far as the female CJ blue I love CJ boom she can do no wrong I've always loved her performances she does so well always elevates the story but it was really the male character the male narrator for me who just put the story over the top he did such a good job I can tell you I highly highly recommend the story even if you don't do any of the other kings this story could easily be done all by itself and is worth listening to trust me

LOVED THIS BOOK!

Both voices are good in this one, although Ryan Hudson's delivery often seemed a little lacking in emotional depth. On the other side, CJ Bloom often seems a little over the top with her emotional expressing of the dialog - but overall I'd give them both a B+ for this narration.

MJ King and Logan Brown meet when he is visiting his grandfather at the assisted living facility where MJ works as a nurse. Logan gets the WRONG idea when he finds her having dinner with Arthur, and gets sent back out to apologize to her.

MJ is pretty inexperienced, considering she's 29 years old. And the one guy she did have experience with was a grade A jerk. And also, Logan's best friend.

Logan's entire adult life has revolved around rugby. He's getting up there in age, for an athlete in a sport this physical, with no idea what he would do if he wasn't playing.

He's a good guy, and soon realizes that there's more than just attraction between him and MJ - there's the glimmer of what a future without his sport could look like.

There's a little bit of the classic miscommunication between them - mostly him sending texts that are vague at best, when clarity would have shortened the story (haha).

But overall, it was an enjoyable read, and always good to get to see what our favorite citizens from Outtatowner are up to now.

10 hours of a book that could have been completed in and hour, and that’s being generous.

Really nothing to this storyline. Rey banks and the peak of the story is MJ hosing down her ex.

A bit of a letdown after the previous stories.

BORING
