Excellent

I’d always heard of this book, but finally read it. Although I’ve since moved into a new field, I still practice sales in my everyday life. A great read for the novice, and a great review for the tenured.

Very informative.

Very informative. Chapter 4 is my personal favorite. Chapter 11 answered one of the hardest questions I've been trying to answer since I've started my business.

Entertaining sales

Reminds me of traditional selling. Another one you might like is J. Douglas Edwards. Very entertaining. A lot of salespeople learn from experience but it’s nice to see how it was once done.

Tried and tested advice on the market!

When I downloaded this book I was expecting a more traditional approach to selling due to the age of the material. But I was surprised to hear about strategies which are still current, strategies which you will also find in books writen by more current writters such as Brian Tracy or Grant Cardone.

And the fact that it's structured as a seminar makes it really fun and interactive. You hear other seminar attendees expressing their opinions and thoughts so you get into the group feeling. I'm just surprised that I cannot find more materials by Fred Herman. He seems a real specialist on the topic and has a special style of teaching.

The recording is low quality due to the technology of the time, but it adds to the feeling of the experience.

I will train my Sales folks with this book and ask them to summarize and make contemporary the thoughts.
