Death from space. The first meteor landed in the Pacific Ocean near San Francisco, causing an earthquake and a tsunami. The second wiped out a small Indiana city. The third struck the deserts of Nevada. When gigantic monsters- Ishom, Girra, and Nusku- emerge from the impact craters, the world faces a threat unlike any it had ever known - Kaiju . NASA catastrophist Gate Rutherford and Special Ops Captain Aiden Walker must find a way to stop the creatures before they destroy every major city in America..

A giant monster tale that delivers an H. G. Wells “War of the Worlds” level of intelligence & excitement.
A solid good story so suspenseful I listened to almost in one sitting.
It was so refreshing to follow the adventures of likable characters performing in ways that were ( for the most part ) logical.
No obvious plot twists you could see coming a mile away. This held my interest all the way through.
No ridiculous villains blown way out of proportion into sadistic mad men with no reason why they do the things they do.
The narrator is good. I’ve heard him read several books. He never gets in the way of the tale with silly over acting.
However, sometimes I wanted to hand him a tissue and tell him to give it a good hard blow.
Kaiju story with frights, tension, wonder, destruction, smarts & heart.
