About this listen

A collection of killer stories from some of today's hottest crime fiction writers, edited by grandmaster and #1 New York Times bestselling author Lee Child

Killer Year is a group of thirteen authors whose first novels were published in the year 2007. Now, each member of this widely-praised organization has written a story with his or her own unique twist on the world of crime. Each entry in this one-of-a-kind collection is introduced by the author's Killer Year mentor, including bestselling authors James Rollins, Tess Gerritsen, and Jeffery Deaver. Other contributors - of original stories, essays, and commentary - include acclaimed veterans Ken Bruen, Allison Brennan, Duane Swierczynski, Laura Lippman, and M.J. Rose. This is an audiobook that no fan of the genre can do without.

Killer Year

I gave this book a three stars rating. I didn't enjoy the book because it was too broken up. The stories were too short.

Pleasurable Listening

I enjoyed the different stories. A couple are staying with me for a while. Hard hitting stuff.

It sucks!

It is using Lee child’s name to Cell. Total amateurs, awful investment. Not worth the time or the money.

short stories, not by lee child

This book is a compilation of short stories from different authors. This would be ok if you are someone who can't get enough of the hooker with a heart of gold, or corrupt politician themes. Material was tired and overused. Cliche.

lackluster short stories

I was extremely disappointed with this book. It was boring from the beginning. I did give it a fair chance and got all the way through. There were 2 stories that were mildly interesting. I am a super fan of Lee Child and the other superstars who helped put this together this book. Sorry it just fell flat and was painful to listen. The narrators were also sub-standard.

Boring

Ordinary stories with lots of "F" bombs I returned this before finishing. The mystery writers stories are much better.
