About this listen

The incredible finale of the addictive, high-octane Sandman Slim series filled with an explosive ending and intense kick-ass action from New York Times best-selling author Richard Kadrey.

It’s been three months since Stark stopped a death cult and a potential ghost apocalypse, and he’s at loose ends. His personal life is a mess. His professional life isn’t much better. And the world...well, the world is going to shit. LA is gripped by a viral epidemic that has everyone wearing masks and keeping their distance from each other. But what’s even more frightening is the Shoggot gang and their leader, King Bullet, who revels in the city’s collapse.

Who is King Bullet? No one knows. He seemingly came from nowhere with nothing but a taste for mayhem and an army of crazed killers who follow his every command. What king wants seems simple on it face: Chaos. Destruction. A city in flames. But there’s more to the king and his plans for LA, and what Stark discovers will change Heaven, Earth, and Stark himself forever.

For Now
Good listen. Not the typical Sandman Slim character we have all come to expect. I grew to enjoy it more as I listened

The end

I remember when I stumbled onto the first book Andaman slim and read/listened to it and was introduced not only to the world but The MAn himself James Stark and his dark view and kinda slanted view and he has been with Mr since through book after book along with others. I'm going to miss this world and the asshole and oddballs who I have grown to love and hate. if this is really the end I cannot complain. As everyone I'd in a good place and that is a good ending. still if Candy or someone else needs to run a muck and fix things with no class or clue I'm down to go with them. thank you for giving me so much joy listening to books!

What a long strange trip it's been...

He could read the phone book, and I would be awed by his talent. The fact that he's narrated all of the books in this awesome series just makes is just the icing on the cake. Or maybe it's just Sandman Slim himself I fell in love with. I absolutely loved this character and all the quirky characters in his "circle". This was truly an amazing series. I really hope the author pulls something out of his hat to get Stark back to us!

I'm in Love With MacLeod Andrews

If you've kept up with the series, this doesn't disappoint! pacing is great, the themes are on point! And ending that doesn't leave you high and dry. I loved it and was a little sad to have finished it.

sad to see you go, happy the way you did

I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this whole series. McCloud's narration absolutely breathed life into these wonderful audio Books. I look forward to anything else Richard Kadry might write.

I hope it is not the end of the series

it is the final enstalment of Sanman Slim. Stark has come along was from the remains of a man who crawled out of hell into the Forever Cemitary so many years ago. He has evolved into a man who cares for his freinds.

After so many years readind and rereading this serries he is a freind. So after fininshing this marvelously series I salute Stark and all his freinds, McLeod Adrews and Richard Kadrey wit a shot of centenial Jack (old enough its like turpentine) and light up a Maladiction. Steeling my self for a reread .

It was on hell of a ride!l, and who knows Stark may crawl aroud Kadreys brain some more and well the furture is unwritten......

Farwell!

A bittersweet goodbye
