Publisher's summary

Aaron is a man of faith. As he crosses the Mojave Desert, Aaron contemplates the grace of the Lord.

And then he gets a flat tire. That's when things get... weird.

Things quickly spiral out of control, introducing Aaron to an odd cast of desert-dwelling people, odd roadside apparitions and a terrifying creature that will shake the foundations of his faith.

Lost in the sands of nowhere, with little more than his belief to guide him, Aaron must face threats both physical and spiritual. With no means of escape, Aaron is forced to face his fears when he volunteers to pray over the recently deceased member of a foreign faction. Despite warnings of a ethereal threat, Aaron stands firm in his worldview, pitting himself against an evil more ancient than he can imagine.

Is Aaron's faith enough to save him?

Another Solid Story

My third story by Mr. Ninness. Good story and I liked that the ending didn't end in a cliché. Narration is good.

Great Concept, But Falls Short

The author has a knack for spinning interesting short stories. Almost all of them begin with an intriguing back story, which is effective in drawing the listener in. The thing I'm starting to notice though, is that the protagonists are always slow to figure out that something is not right. This little nuance bothers me, as I have no tolerance for the idiotic. This story is the epitome of this sentiment. With that being said, Ninness has managed to once again keep me intrigued enough to purchase another. I know this review is a bit ambiguous, but I guess you'll have to spend the $3 and listen for yourself. Then my review might make a little more sense to you. If you have a few dollars to spend and need a short 45 minute story to get you home from work in five o'clock traffic, give Ninness a go. I hope this was somewhat useful.
