About this listen

The deepest meaning of the present moment is inseparable from who you are in your essence. The beloved verse "be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10) offers a perennial gateway to this realization. Know That "I Am" presents three audio sessions with Eckhart Tolle, pointing us toward the firsthand discovery of who we are in our eternal nature.

For most of us, our sense of identity comes from the thoughts in our heads - what Eckhart calls "the story of me". The common denominator of "me" is a lingering, dissatisfying sense that we're never complete. On Know That "I Am", Eckhart describes a new state of consciousness that is beginning to emerge on the planet, wherein the sense of self is no longer derived solely from thought - but from the direct recognition of our timeless "being" nature. Join him to explore:

  • The primary voluntary "portals" to presence - including bringing a "yes" to Now, sense perceptions, and stillness itself.
  • Suffering, the pain-body, and the involuntary openings into presence we often experience.
  • Finding freedom from the veil of conditioned interpretations.

"'Being,' 'stillness,' 'knowing,' and 'I am' are all synonymous in their core," teaches Eckhart. "Each guides us to the One underlying the many." Know That "I Am" is your invitation to this great awakening.

Thanking awareness for helping awareness become aware of itself. As usual a wonderful listen that can take deeper into presence.

whereas Tolle's voice in this recording is distracting at times, the message -- as always -- is sound. his focus on the "I Am" and on the pain body (toward the end of the recording) is valuable and helpful. if the listener is familiar with and appreciates Tolle's thoughts, then Know That I Am is as valuable a listen as ANY of Tolle's works.

It's the message far more than the messenger

Suggest listening to The Power of Now - and relisten often, for there are many nuances. Know That I Am is a great title but lacks substance and especially flow. Talk seems disjointed and impacted by what seems like breathing and voice problems. I hope the author is not dealing with health issue, Perhaps his material presented by another reader would have held my attention. There are some good points though difficult to grasp due to presentation and organization difficulties.

I am so sorry to give this such a bad review but this was a merciless listen. The long drawn out pauses, the not quite monotone but yet rarely altering voice, the 'time is present but not present then already creating a paradox' doublespeak. 3 hours worth. Holy cow!

I am so sorry
