Back to Basics

Big Red hit the nail on the head with this book. Sales is no longer trying to drive a square peg through a round hole. For any sales person to succeed they have to be able to build value, but it's not the value of their product, but the value they can give to a prospect or client.

Focusing on what challenges the prospect/client faces daily is far more important than your products features, advantages, and benefits. When you can show that you understand them, you can then begin building the relationship.
