Would you consider the audio edition of Lantern in the Mist to be better than the print version?

The audio edition perfectly matched the print edition! The reader's voice, the music and the mood of the audio gave the exact impression I had when reading the print edition! A great companion to the print edition.

What did you like best about this story?

I absolutely loved the beautiful relationship between the sisters! It's a deep love shown through action, the most important of all. Kathleen's character is an amazing example of strength, loyalty and someone who actually learns from her mistakes. It is very touching to see her grow as a person throughout the book. I also found the historical component extremely interesting, showing us the day-to-day struggles of being a woman in the end of the 19th century, very fascinating to read and learn about.

What does Lara Asmundson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It was quite uncanny, because to me she was the voice of Kathleen, a perfect match of voice and main character!! I loved the way she really interpreted the book, and fleshed out all of the characters.

If you could take any character from Lantern in the Mist out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Definitely Kathleen!!! I could really use some of her fortitude and spirit!!

Any additional comments?

This lovely audio edition was really able to fully represent the story, its unique mood and characters. It is clear that Lara really took the time to understand the nuances of the historical period and Kathleen's character. I highly recommend this audio edition of the great "Lantern in the Mist"!
