I have learned many valuable techniques in leading

I loved reading this informational book audibly. I will be reading it several times because of the qualities a leader needs to exemplify is not achieved overnight, but throughout a lifetime of growth.

i enjoyed Deborah's enthusiasm and vulnerabilities. I was thankful for her sharing stories, experiences and the fact she intends to continue learning and growing after writing 18 books

There were times when I found myself in a scenario and I said I need to remember to correct that. Or that is what I do in that situation. And I even said that I have a long ways to go.

One of the areas I remember her saying. Was to work on being a good storyteller. If you don't remember everything, start at the end and fill in the details as you go. Your audience will remember your stories best.

Confidence can be achieved at any age. She shared this by sharing some of her mentors on the job, in her church and throughout life that encouraged her to keep going even when she felt she was not qualified. She didn't give up but took the necessary courses or spoke to the right people to help her arrive at her destination. Some of her instructors I had even known!

Thank you again Mrs Pegues for the lovely journey of being a leader and answering your call as a writer. I listened at various times as I drove to Costco, shopping, exercising, sewing and completing all my duties in my home.🤗😇🙏🏾

Rev. Goldie B. Walker

This Spirit-filled book is informative, transformative and inspirational. The author’s successful wealth of professional and high level experiences on many spectrums all validate this writing. Having the wealth of professional knowledge and good common sense to back it up, are key elements for making this book an invaluable resource for women serving or working in any level of leadership capacity. The biblical references are definitely an added plus for anyone. I bought the audible and then bought the hardcover book to mark.

Informative

The author gives practical steps to living the fullest and leading with all your spiritual gifts and talents. Leadership is not black or white, neither female or male. There are grey areas the author helped us to better define and develop strategies to help us all be more than conquerors.

Meh...

Would have liked/enjoyed it more if I were told it was faith-based. Some really great concepts and statements, but they were like shooting stars.

Misleading due to faith

While the message of this book is good, The description is misleading/not giving all the information. The description and the category the book is in, do not let readers know that this is a book about faith. If you're listening to this and you're not expecting a Bible verse, It feels as though the faith is undermining the message. With correct labeling and description this would not have been an issue in the first place. I'll absolutely remove my review once that is updated.
