About this listen

Leadership for Profitable Sustainability will change the ways leaders, managers, and others perceive and improve their communications to be more clear and efficient, and their behaviors to be more empathetic and irreproachable. It will maximize financial and psychic rewards for individuals and firms.

The author, Pete Geissler, answers, with his characteristic chatty and pointed style, the essential why and how questions:

  • why and how being more articulate can lead to wealth and happiness
  • why and how better writing and speaking can lead to higher productivity and profitability
  • why and how ethical behavior leads to sustainability and peace of mind
  • why and how treating people with dignity leads to strategic competitive advantage
  • why and how human side of business has become the winning side

LPS logically combines five books written by Pete Geissler into one; each of the five books has been critically applauded for its practical advice and immediate usefulness.

Sustainability implies a level of understanding and awareness of disciplines and world issues greater than oneself - this author displays no such understanding. He tries to convince the reader through the use of the word articulate why he expects others to meet his expectations for communication. His approach is neither articulate nor sustainable, and is cringe worthy at some points. Missing are world views which are intrinsic in any sustainable models.
