The Italian language is wonderful, so rich in nuances and expressiveness. It is the language of love: a sweet language, which cuddles word after word, without ever becoming authoritarian, but always turning to the heart. It is the language often used in the world of art, theatrical work and literature: a language of pleasure and passion, which expresses, word after word, moods and emotions. A language that gives happiness.

In a culture where sipping "rosé all day" is seen as the epitome of relaxation, "grabbing a drink" the only way to network; and meeting at a bar the quintessential "first date", many of us are left wondering if drinking alcohol really is the only way to cultivate joy and connection in life. Jardine Libaire and Amanda Eyre Ward wanted to live spontaneous and luxurious lives, to escape the ordinary and enjoy the intoxicating. Their drinking, however, had started to numb them to the present moment instead of unlocking it.

Story
When Kelly Quinn and her two BFFs discover a dusty old cookbook while cleaning out the attic, the girls decide to try a few of the mysterious and supposedly magical recipes that are inside. To their surprise, the Keep 'Em Quiet Cobbler actually silences Kelly's pesky little brother and the Hexberry Tart puts a curse on mean girl Charlotte. Is it possible that the recipes really are magic? Who wrote them and where did they come from? And most importantly of all, when boys get involved, what kind of trouble are the girls stirring up for themselves?

Story
This book provides recipes, as well as tons of tips, tricks, and tools culled directly from the Bright Line Eating community, the "Bright Lifers" themselves! Because Bright Line Eating is unlike any food program out there, this cookbook will be unlike any seen before. It's broken down by warm bowls, cold bowls, and plates. There will be a large section on salad dressings - because Bright Lifers live and die by their dressing! Note: There will not be any "cheat" foods, because those foods keep addiction alive in the brain, slow weight loss, and leave you vulnerable to old habits.

Great book
I wanted a basic understanding of a few words at least for my visit to Japan with my boys this summer. This book did not disappoint as my favorite chapter was the introduction and frequent questions. One of the best reasons to try learning a language while you sleep is that you won’t be wasting time. Even if you learn nothing, you would have been sleeping regardless, so you won’t have wasted any valuable time that you could have used for something else. Additionally, sleep learning might improve vocabulary retention. In this book, the number includes numbers, calendars, time, weather, greetings, introductions and questions, food, and colors. Will definitely recommend!!!

Excellent Language Aid
This is a phenomenal way to learn some Chinese vocabulary while you sleep. I've listened to this while falling asleep/sleeping, as well as during waking hours, and I've found that listening to this while sleeping drastically improves my cognition. The audio production and narration is phenomenal and really helps drill these vocabulary words. This is a must-buy for anyone who wants to start learning entry-level Chinese vocabulary.

Learning Chinese Faster
This book is helping me soak up knowledge I am learning in my regular language program. I am noticing a difference when words in this book are included in what I am covering in my classes. Pronunciation of the words is also very good and helpful! I will keep this book on at night as my white noise for a few weeks!

Great introduction to Chinese whilst you sleep
I wanted to see whether I could learn any Chinese before moving onto a bigger audible on Chinese words and this audible was great. It was clear and concise and you can leave it on repeat until the words started to sink in and become second nature. Highly recommended for those looking for an intro to Chinese words and a short audible they can leave on repeat.

For anyone with limited time
I love the length of this book. But more than that, I love how it serves those of us who'd like to learn Chinese but do not have the the time or the resources to take advantage of other opportunities - like classes. I am planning on listening to this book a couple more times. I have already picked up some words and I didn't even realize it was happening. I'm excited to see the results in the next week or two.

Learning a Difficult Language Made Easy
Chinese is not an easy language to learn or read. The techniques in this book make the language simple to understand and speak. After listening to this book, I feel more confident that I can speak Chinese to others when necessary.
