Quinn should have won.

The battle was supposed to be over. Instead, the stars are gone, the world is in shambles, and the consequences of his actions are rapidly outweighing his victory. The warlocks of Grevelt must travel to the lands ravaged by monsters in order to fix everything once and for all.

i am once again patiently awaiting more sigil content

Quinn’s back at it again on an all new kind of quest, this time accompanied by almost every significant warlock he’s met so far! Akman’s character writing shines, with everybody’s differing personalities, backgrounds and mindsets coming to a head in a litany of ways. Some recommended features of this book include:
- a long awaited reunion
- exciting developments in quinn’s power set
- an in depth conversation between two characters about debate strats

Peri Akman Hits Another Home Run

Absolutely loved this book. Tons of deep character development, really excellent writing, and just an overall fantastic story. I want to relisten to the first two now.

Terrific performance from Christopher Gebauer as well. Lots of emotion and nuance in their words.

Cannot wait for the next book!
Love you, Peri. Keep 'em coming! :-D

Fallout

This book largely deals with the fallout from the previous books events. I pick this one up because I really enjoyed the others. This book is largely conversation between different characters, internal factions and musings of characters that have issues. That's the best I can do to describe it without really ruining the plot narrow and poorly paced as it is. Overall the story felt like a drag with all the human biological and emotional distresses on full display. Don't get me wrong, I will read the next one it's just this one was like a filler at the end of an arc. Not saying it was entirely unnecessary but I would say maybe about half the book could have been paired down. As far as the narrator goes he does a great job but I noticed he confused individual voices a handful of times. Two out of three thumbs up with reservations.
