About this listen
Unrequited love hurts like hell.
Levi Brown has loved Noah White since he was a teenager, but Noah isn’t looking for a relationship. Every time Levi sees him, his heart aches for what it cannot have. Because dear Lord, he wants Noah, in his life, in his bed.
Especially in his bed. The only reason Levi is still a virgin is because he was waiting for Noah. Except Noah doesn’t want him. Maybe it’s time for Levi to finally accept the situation and move on.
Something stirs for the first time.
Noah White doesn’t find people unattractive—he just doesn’t want to jump into bed with any of them. He and Levi have been like brothers most of their lives, and when shocking news rocks Levi’s world, Noah is there for him. When their relationship intensifies, Noah is exhilarated and excited—and confused. It’s kind of fitting that the first person he finds himself wanting is his best friend, but not if Levi doesn’t want him that way.
How long before Levi and Noah see what’s right under their noses?
Maybe it’s time for an intervention....

Story
The job at Sunday Orchard was supposed to be temporary. A chance to gain some work experience, to have some fun. I had not expected to be welcomed into a family of gorgeous and weirdly efficient lumberjack-types, or to find purpose in the tiny Vermont town whose claim to fame seemed to be apple-based products and copious amounts of charm. And I most definitely hadn’t expected to fall for Knox Sunday, my grumpy, burly, fifteen-years-older, reluctant roommate, with his infuriating lectures, his hot-as-fire body, his superior attitude - I’ve never been one to put down roots.

I met Matt in second grade, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We went to the same schools; studied at the same college. When we both got jobs in the same town, we shared an apartment. And when my life took an unexpected turn, Matt was there for me. Every milestone in my life, he was there to share it. And what’s really amazing? Story
Growing up in a small town in Georgia hasn't prepared him for the more liberal life of a student at the university in Athens. Add to that the teachings of his parents and his church, and you have one shy young man who feels out of his depth. Working on his daddy's farm hasn't given him any chance of a social life, certainly not one like the clubs of Atlanta have to offer. Not that Tommy feels comfortable when he gets to sample it - Momma's lectures still ring loudly inside his head.

When it comes to hockey, I'm all about the game. I've worked for years to be one of the best in the league, and l've done it without splashing my orientation all over the tabloids. My hockey image is one I've carefully cultivated, and after one night with Ezra Palaszczuk, I risk it all. He's cocky, obnoxious, and has an ego bigger than Massachusetts. And okay, maybe he's the sexiest man I've ever known. We'll never get along. Not when we sleep together. Not even when my possessive streak awakens. That doesn't stop us from falling into bed together over and over again.

Between running a garage full of beefed-up gear-head mechanics and bailing my idiot brother out of trouble every other week, the last thing I have time for is a relationship. I’ve tried it too many times, and the ridiculous reasons I always find to end it have become a running joke around the garage. But I’ve learned my lesson. No. More. Boyfriends. I don’t care how many times Porter falls asleep drunk in my bed or how cute he looks covered in oil smears while I teach him how to fix up the vintage car he has rusting away in his garage; I’m not going to fall for him.

Supervising the builders should be easy…except the man in charge is Oliver’s childhood best friend and ex-boyfriend. Lane’s spent nine years desperately trying to forget his first love, but that doesn’t stop him from fantasizing about Oliver in every spare moment once he discovers Oliver’s back in town. Payne. In search of: Room to rent. Must ignore the patheticness of a 40-year-old roommate. Preferably dirt cheap as funds are tight (nonexistent). There’s nothing sadder than moving back to my hometown newly divorced, homeless, and lost for what my next move is. When my little brother’s best friend offers me a place to stay in exchange for menial duties, I swallow my pride and jump at the offer. I need this. I also need Beau to wear a shirt. Nothing in my life is really mine. I take care of my mama, work three jobs, I’m there when anyone needs me. Something about the beautiful, lonely man on my mail route interests me. He’s different in my world, where everything’s the same. I think he hates me, but that doesn’t stop me from hand-delivering every package and trying to find ways to make him smile. Then Emerson makes me an offer: He’ll pay me to spend the weekends with him, losing ourselves in each other’s bodies, no feelings or pasts involved.

Loved it!
I was gifted a copy of this as I promised to write an honest review. The Maine Men series has been a wonderful series, and Levi's Love is a great finale to the series. It's a story of perceived unrequited love and how sexual labels can evolve and change. Ms Wells' writing style is easy, with a natural flow to it. Throughout the series we have learned about Levi's history and the issues he has had to live with. It was heartfelt to read about the closure he gets. And his HEA. John Solo's narration has been consistent throughout the series. It is laid back and relaxing. Another narrator might have used a more aggressive tone in certain passages. But Mr. Solo keeps things ca!m and easy. I have all 7 Audible books and and hoping to have the time to do a Maine Men marathon in the near future. This was a great listen.

Loved The Series
When I started the series I knew I would enjoy the narrator I have heard him before. The series is awesome. Each story pulls you in to see what is going to happen. But I knew the stories would be great because K. C. Wells wrote them. So far I have not read a story written by her That I haven't enjoyed.

Levi and Noah
Levi's Love is Book 7 in the Maine Men series. This is a beautifully written best friends to lovers story about Levi and Noah. I'm so glad these two got their happy ending. Have tissues handy. If you're like me you will need them and maybe more than once. I love this series and this book is the perfect end, though I wouldn't mind a novella now and again to see how everyone is doing. It took a long time but Levi and Noah finally kiss and admit their feelings for each other. I enjoyed learning more about Levi's mom and what happened there. Everyone needs a Grammy in their lives. She is such a strong character and a real central place for Levi and all his friends. Levi doesn't allow himself to get sidetracked by dating anyone. He's only ever wanted Noah, that is sweet and rare. It's like if he can't have Noah than he doesn't want anyone. Thankfully for both Levi and Noah they have wonderful friends and family who are a little pushy. I definitely recommend this book and series. I recommend not starting the series with this book though.
Narrator John Solo does another amazing job. I've enjoyed listening to him throughout this series.

Friendship and courage to go for who you want
Levi’s Love by K.C. Wells is the last book in the Maine Men Series Narrated by the wonderful Jonn Solo who embodies each and every character with perfection. Levi has loved Noah since he was a teen and was beginning to think Noah would never see him as anything other than a brother. With a nudge or two from Grammy and a surprise from his past he might have the courage to confess to Noah.
I loved this book as it was a culmination of a lifetime of friendships, love, new group dynamics and support like no other. It also shows what a foundation of friendship and courage in the face of your fears can give you exactly what you deserve: love and happiness. And a wedding can't forget the long awaited wedding.

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧 Amazing Series!
K.C. Wells created something very special with these “Maine Men”, a group of men who share interests and became friends over rate years, each book in the series featured a different member of that group, except for this one, it features two of them, Noah White and Levi Brown. Levi fell in love with Noah when they were in their teens but Noah was never interested a relationship, but that did not stop Levi from saving himself for him. These two not only have the rest of the Maine men in their corner but Levi’s Grammy, too. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is beautifully written and plotted with plenty of drama, heartwarming and emotional moments and a slow burn, friends to lovers romance. Besides Levi and Noah’s budding romance, there is some family drama, some great Grammy moments, and friend moments. I am sad this is the last book of this series and I am going to miss this wonderful group of men, I loved each one of them individually and when they got together. K.C. Wells, thank you for this amazing story and series, I am looking forward to the next adventure you take us on.
🎧 📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, K.C. Wells cast the perfect narrator to bring her characters and story to life. John Solo is a superbly talented narrator and a versatile voice artist. His portrayal of each character is spot on, as are his vocal choices, with each one fitting their persona perfectly and his performances have been consistent throughout the series. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he captures all the character’s emotions and projects them into his performance and has you feeling every single one. John Solo is an entertaining storyteller and a versatile voice artist, his narration enhances this amazing story another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
