Either gifted or cursed, Paul can’t touch anything electronic. Cell phones fry, breakers trip, a whole section of the electrical grid collapses on a bad day. But now, having moved to Pittsburgh with his twin to help Cooper and Ash, his “gift” threatens to unveil the special powers of them all.
Russ teaches high-voltage techniques to line workers at a local tech institute. He hides his mental illness of “seeing things” as best as he can - until Paul lands in his classroom. Paul, whose field glows the same as the strongest appliance, is an irresistible young man who strives not for higher learning, but for control.
Their mutual gifts mesh as though fated, and their attraction sets off sparks.
Book 3 of Disorderly Elements series can be listened to as a stand-alone. The author wraps the charged clash of technology and the paranormal in a heartwarming story of courage and fated romance where two men find their place in the world, as well as a safe haven for their heart.

the narrator killed it for me

The narration in this story wasn't the best I've experienced nor was it the worst. I do feel like the narrator should have distinguised between the different voices a little better because there were a few times that I had to back up to figure out who was talking but overall his voice was enjoyable.
Different but very enjoyable.

Which is why he tries to get a better understanding of his power, and hey! Russ teaches high-voltage techniques and Paul decides to attend to his class. You can say their first meeting was charged :P And Russ, he can 'see' electrical charges, and he can help Paul to control his gift. Their gifts work together, and the mutual attraction is obvious since the first moment.
I love to see how they work and grow together, how Paul gets control of his powers. But there is also the matter of Jared and the katana, and of course, Brian Clegg is back causing problems,
A fantastic new instalment on this series.
Sadly, Mace Earl Finn is good, but I don't like when the narrator is changed in the middle of the series :/
New characters, new powers!
