About this listen

A wrongful death in a state hospital leaves Boston trial attorney Ken Dwyer seeking ways to get around a $100,000 statutory cap on damages. An aggressive courtroom brawler on the rise, he makes his living in the trenches of personal injury and criminal defense matters. Supported by a diverse team of lawyers, the small law firm desperately seeks to pin liability on a new defendant with deep pockets. Dwyer takes on a criminal case to help pay the bills. His investigation into both matters leads him into the dealings of a Balkan criminal syndicate. Will he uncover the cause of the wrongful death or become another casualty of street crime?

What a great story! I'm seriously looking forward to the next book in this series to become available in Audible.
This author received a compliment that few legal suspense writers ever receive. My husband likes to listen to my "silly books" with me and as an attorney for over 35 years he likes to point out all the legal errors. He told me himself that this novel was very much on point.
I thought the narrator was good but I feel the the ladies in this book deserved a female voice.

Can't wait for the next one!
