About this listen

Winner of three Gold & two Silver Medals in international book competitions . . .

What does a scruffy mechanic, a deaf Italian, and a hot flight attendant have in common?

Each of these men accidentally fell in love.

Cupid smacked them right in their hot little tushes, and the rest is history.

Along the way, they also found a family of men who support and love each other like no other.

Across five novels, Author Casey Morales’s easy style gives you funny, self-deprecating humor that will have you laughing out loud, yet is authentic enough to also make you cry (in the very best way).

These stories also include a wonderful found family, hurt men receiving comfort, beautiful coming out, loving men adopting a child, seven amazing HEAs, nerds and jocks falling in love, and a hot cop who smiles way too much.

Exceptional Story - Romantic and Heartwarming!

I've read - by which I mean listened to - about 600 romance books in the last few of years. It's been a tough time when I needed an escape. More recently I became enchanted with M/M romance, of which I've read probably 150. This books is a standout in any genre. Out of all of those books I've read, I can count the number of times I've been moved to happy tears on one hand.

This book was one of those times.

What an extraordinary story! Casey Morales is writing from a place of experience and passion for the subject of his book, and the result is profoundly moving. Nick and André's romance is wonderfully complex and passionate, all while being a very satisfying "slow burn," full of exploration, respect and tenderness. Nick's relationship with the little boy, Ethan, evolves so beautifully and authentically that my heart was bursting by the end. Nick's relationship with his fellow teammates, who become close friends, is a funny and endearing addition to the story that lightens the mood while at the same adding depth to all of the relationships. And I fell in love with dear André from the beginning, only loving him more as the story unfolded.

And if you like baseball, it's a fun bonus, but it's not at all necessary in order to enjoy the story.

I've enjoyed all of Casey Morales' books, even loved many of them, but this one is in a whole different universe of wonderful.

Great sports integration into great story.

I enjoy the pacing and narrators. they were excellent. the author took on a serious subject realizing how many LGBT people want to adopt now.

Wonderful character development.

I really enjoyed having many of these characters in the novels cross over many of the books. Many books of this genre mainly focus sex but Casey’s stories grow the relationships before they jump into bed.

Really enjoyed this series. Took a chance on this. I didn’t know much about Casey. But was pleasantly surprised. Each book was really great.

One of the best!!!

Of the many gay themed books I’ve enjoyed, this set was by far, among my favorites. As I continued, I actually thought about why I was enjoying these books as much as I did. The stories and characters are realistic, good people who happen to be gay. The banter is what I’ve experienced throughout my life, with friends, family and those I love. These books are demonstrate life as it is, with its ups and downs, with caring, good people who show love whether as friends or lovers. I look forward to enjoying more from Casey Morales!

Excellent story arcs and characters with nuance and depth.

This series of books is excellent. The stories feel true to their characters who offer both laughs and tears balanced with bright futures.

Great series

I particularly like that the characters are interesting. It is a bit of the “more of the same” where it’s everybody’s origin story as a couple, how they met, how they fell in love, how they realize that they are made for each other within a couple of weeks or a couple of months. All that is there which can get a little tiresome when you read a lot of MM romance novels. But because the characters continue in each book you get to at least see the characters in their relationship after the fact. The doctor Martin character was a little challenging to listen to. There was a lot of effort put into having a French accent in English, I am a native French speaker and when he actually said French words or French phrases, they were very wrong. Just means that the reader needs to do more research into how to actually pronounce the words in the language rather than just how to have that accent in English.

Diversity

I love how this author's characters are so diverse. The stories are all distinct and interesting all the way through, and you are really rooting for the love interests.

So much fun!

Book four is my favorite, and Cooper is my favorite character. This whole series is fantastic.

Good and Bad

The first three were pretty good, but after that the stories just felt so bland. I couldn't through the last one.
