About this listen

When Sherry Waterman leaves Orchard Valley, Oregon, for Pepper, Texas, she’s definitely not in the mood for Lone Star Lovin’. But if anyone can change her mind, it’s Cody Bailman – a hardworking, good-looking rancher. Not only that, Cody has a 12-year-old daughter who thinks Sherry’s “just perfect for Dad”!

Texas men are a breed apart….

Not enough research

The story line was blah. Not like her other books. What turned me off this story was in the beginning was Sherry Waterman’s credentials that she was a midwife and Physician Assistant but in her 20’s. That is not possible. She would need 2 different Bachelors and Master degrees. It would be better to be a Nurse Practitioner due to the autonomy a nurse practitioner generally has. However, in Texas Nurse Practitioners do not have full practice authority so they need a doctors oversight for prescribing which is the same as a Physician Assistant. Be one Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant but not both. One is a medical model and one is a nursing model.
