Publisher's summary
Love will always find its way...or will it?
Ella a.k.a Miss Apple Pants is back in another charming story. But instead of losing everything she owns to a U-Haul truck, she’s about to lose her heart...
A lot has happened since we left Ella lost in Seattle. She’s become a mature woman and loves being a "timeshare mother" with her hippie parents. Life is good. Hans is part of the past, that is until Alfred suddenly utters the word “dad”... And when Frank announces they are going to Europe for the summer, Ella finds herself split in two. Should she go find him? And is she still in love with him. Or is she, in fact, in love with someone else?
A warm-hearted and humorous romance/family drama, Lost in Love, is a celebration of family, friendship, and finding love when and where you least expect it. “If you love a fast-paced story, with snappy dialogue and lots of humor, heart and girly feelings, this is the audiobook for you”.

He’s sure its not going to be hippy-dippy Ruby with her sass and rebellious ways. Ruby is determined to give his daughters the Christmas they deserve. To the Green-Eyed Lovebird: We met 15 years ago, almost to the day, when I moved my stuff into the NYU dorm room next to yours at Senior House. You called us fast friends. I like to think it was more. We lived on nothing but the excitement of finding ourselves through music (you were obsessed with Jeff Buckley), photography (I couldn’t stop taking pictures of you), hanging out in Washington Square Park, and all the weird things we did to make money. I learned more about myself that year than any other. Yet, somehow, it all fell apart.

Story
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

A week of softball, sprinting, and sweaty socks isn't exactly Amelia’s idea of a good time - in fact, she's deeply, appallingly unathletic. By the end of day one, she’s puked her guts out in track, gotten a black eye in no-contact flag football, and firmly established herself as the Least Valuable Player at camp.

My love story all started with a letter. Only it wasn’t from the man I’d eventually fall in love with. It was from his daughter. A sweet little girl named Birdie Maxwell who’d written to the magazine that I worked for. You see, once a year my employer fulfilled a few wishes for readers. Only that column didn’t start up again for months. So I fulfilled some of her wishes myself. It was harmless…so I thought. Until one day I took things too far. While anonymously granting yet another of Birdie’s wishes, I got a look at her father.

Willow Chance is a 12-year-old genius, obsessed with nature and diagnosing medical conditions, who finds it comforting to count by sevens. It has never been easy for her to connect with anyone other than her adoptive parents, but that hasn’t kept her from leading a quietly happy life...until now.

Some believe the old adage, “where there’s smoke, there’s fire". Well, in some instances the smoke is just a coverture for secrets. Dark ones. Ragee is a successful R&B singer, music composer, and actor who shot to fame and celebrity at rocketing speed. He has the voice, the troubled soul, the seductive look, and the alluring mystique, all of which give him the traditional packaging of a soulful rhythm and blues singer. But he also has an unshakable stigma attached to his stardom that won’t seem to go away.

But it's adventure-seeking Bex who goes to Oxford and meets dreamy Nick across the hall - and Bex who finds herself accidentally in love with the heir to the British throne. Nick is wonderful, but he comes with unimaginable baggage.

Story
Clare and Henry have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was 36. They were married when Clare was 23 and Henry was 31. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself misplaced in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity from his life, past and future. His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.

Great sequel
Charlotte Roth did well with this sequel to Lost in Seattle. She is such a great storyteller. I was invested in the Ella's plight of finding her child's father. I only wish we had more to the romance. There wasn't time to FEEL the relationship, the love for each other. But I so loved the characters. An enjoyable listen/read.
Hope Dorman did a great job once again. She is an excellent narrator. I hope she does more work with fictional romance in the future.

Fun Continuation
This book was so fun. The characters were likable and charming, even Mrs Rock who I wasn't sure of at the start. My biggest issue is that the kids don't consistently act their age, often talking older than their age.
This story picks up 3 years after the first. I enjoyed catching up with Ella again and seeing how her friendships have grown and changed. Parts were a bit predictable but I was caught up in how it unfolded. It's a fun and heartwarming story and I definitely recommend it.
Hope Dorman's narration was just as fantastic as in the first book. She brings the story to life and adds a layer of charm.

Just Wonderful!
This second book in the series was just as wonderful as the first. I am quickly becoming a fan of this author. I adore her writing style and her way with words. She definitely knows how to keep your interest because this book was difficult to put down once I began listening. I kept hoping that Ella would finally find what she was truly looking for and be able to get her HEA. I laughed and cried yet once again. The characters in the book are all so endearing I just wanted to hug them all! Hope Dorman is an amazing narrator. I will definitely look for more books she narrates. Her voices are spot on and she is excellent with accents and emotions. I can’t say enough about how much I have enjoyed this series. I would love to hear more about this lovely family.

Ella aka Miss Apple Pants!
Lost in Love: Miss Apple Pants is a coming of age story. I absolutely love this cover as its fresh, with a trendy style and fits the genre & narrative perfectly. This is the 2nd audiobook in this duology & I hope it gets turned into a trilogy. I absolutely loved this novel and thought it was even better than the first novel. A highly entertaining novel surounded with family, friendships and finding love. With lots of witty humor, romance/histrionics and lighthearted engaging dialogue that will have you laughing out loud. I would love to escape to miss apple pants world. Characters are compelling and well seasoned. The writing style is creative, crafty and smart. The narrative is fun, unparalleled, and addictive. A refreshing girly girl audio that is a perfect anytime listen. I highly recommend listening to this new innovative audio.
Narator Hope Dorman did a wonderful performance with this audio. Her voice reflects the right age of Ella as the story is told in her pov, with others speaking in intervals with their own voice. Her inflection was perfect, changing where needed. Her singing voice was a fine touch and gave the narrative a ample impression. Her enthusiasm is felt and brings out the narrative & character's to life. However, I did notice noise in the background but it wasn't too distracting. I'm not sure where the audio was being recorded, but that may have been the issue. Overall, a smooth flowing listen that is highly addictive and entertaining.

Lost in Love is a cute follow up to Lost in Seattle. Lost in Love starts four years after Lost in Seattle ends and although you don't necessarily have to read Lost in Seattle first I recommend it and Lost in Love references events from and follows characters in Lost in Seattle. Overall Lost in Love was a cute story but I would have liked it better if there was an epilogue.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Delightful & Heartfelt
This book is as fabulous as the first book in the series was. I thoroughly enjoyed “Lost In Seattle” and was so happy to hear there would be a second book. And Charlotte Roth does not disappoint, this book contains the same delightful charm, the same fabulous characters plus a few new ones. This book fast forwards three years, Ella turns 21, she has a son Alfred and a sister Ava, and is living with her parents all of whom are just as quirky as ever. She is also good friends with Thomas, yes, that Thomas and his daughter Eleanor. Ella’s father has a work assignment in Europe, his boss Mrs. Rock offered to make it an all expense paid trip for his family. Ella was not sure about going along but decided now was the time to find Hans, her son’s father. Hans went back home to Berlin after his classes were finished and has no idea that he has a son. I love Charlotte Roth’s writing style and ability to create such quirky characters and storylines that are realistic and relatable and yes some are just hilarious and others are completely heartfelt. This story is sure to put a smile on your face, I sure how this is not the end of the “Miss Apple Pants” series, fingers crossed there is more to come from these adventurous characters. Thank you for another amazing story, it is a charming delight that has a lot of heart!
I listened to the Audible edition, Hope Dorman is a wonderful narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. You can hear how much heart she put into the story, she projects the emotions of the characters, as well as the drama and humor of the story, into her performance. Loved what she did with the song lyrics, her vibrato is amazing. Thank you for another great & entertaining listen🎧

Lost In Love
Lost In Love takes place 3 after Lost In Seattle. Ella has a son named Alfred and a sister, Ava. This book is just as hilarious as the first one. The characters are just as quirky. Only now, Ella is faced with the decision to go with her family to Europe and try to find Hans, or stay behind. Is she still in love with Hans? Or is she in love with someone from her present?
This is a very interesting and funny story! It held my interest from start to finish! I love all the characters, new and old! If you are looking for a fun listen, this it!
Hope did a fabulous job bringing all of the characters to life. I could picture her as Ella.

fun story
This 2nd story in Miss Apple Pants does not disappoint. It's just as fun, thoughtful intriguing story as the first. It's shows how much Ella matured since had Alfred. Ellas father is going to Europe for his job. It's a chance for the whole family to go, but there's one hitch . His boss, Mrs Rock/Rockefeller wants to go with them on their journey. Ella wants to find Hans, this trip ends up being an adventure. A trip of self discovery. It's a charming story of reconnecting with family, following her heart. This is a great story and fun to listen to.
