About this listen

Torn between my best friend and the boy who makes my heart beat again, learning the truth might break me…

My entire life changed in an instant. One violent moment took my mother and destroyed me. I can't even remember it. All I know is…it was my fault.

Now I'm entering senior year after hiding away from the world for as long as I could. The only distraction I have from the heavy weight of my scars is my best friend, Graham. He's been my rock through it all.

When his cousin Atlas appears, my world suddenly tilts on its already unsteady axis. Everyone warns me to stay away from the star football player with a bad boy reputation and a chip on his shoulder.

I should… Yet from the moment I climb on the back of his motorcycle, sparks fly.

Despite all the reasons to keep him at a distance, my need for the truth about the accident drives us closer. Until the truth destroys everything…

Love the Way You Lie is an angsty and emotional YA small town, opposites-attract, love-triangle romance about two best friends and the broken boy who comes between them on the search for the truth that could change everyone's world.

Team Atlas !!!

I loved the back story and the love story (triangle). Typically the MC always picks the boy I’m not on board with so she better make the right decision again in the next book. Narration was great! Foreshadowing was great and hope the next book isn’t closed door.

slow predictable

The story wasn't bad but unfortunately it was very predictable for me. I seen everything coming and that ruined it for me. I think older teens would like it alot though.

decent story. easy to listen. more research needed

The book was better than I expected. I like the character development. however, the author really needs to do a bit of research on basic football fundamentals. #52 is a linebacker (defense) number. never would a wide receiver have that number. the quarterback gloating about him having 80 yards of passing is very far fetched. 9/10 80 yards passing is an absolute terrible game. I'm a pro football player but I love audiobooks so I wanted to give a try. just those small details kind of irked me. but, overall, solid solid book.
