About this listen

A few weeks ago, I was found by the Lagolians, a race of bunny girls from another star system. I helped them defend their race against the Nekrol, deadly AI robots. We even took back one of the portals the Lagolians previously lost to the Nekrol.

Everything was going great. Hell, it was even kind of fun....

But, now the Lagolians want me playing "support" in the five-versus-five skirmish battles. I’ve gone from being a hero sniper, landing sick head shots, to a glorified field mechanic, regenerating mech shields from the far end of the battlefield. I’m not going to lie, it’s kind of boring.

So, when I get the invite to play in Fight Night, an underground skirmish simulation league, playing whatever role I want against crazier opponents than ever before, how can I turn the offer down? It’s just harmless fun, after all...until Lagolian girls start to go missing.

great story

there are a few unexplained things in the story but this is a fun listen with great narration. It is well wortg a credit to see if the author can keep it strong in vol 3

the second book

The 1st book was kind of fun and I enjoyed it. this second book however, it wasn't an enjoyable listen. He kept making stupid decisions after stupid decisions. there was nothing to set him apart. everyone else got less people killed or almost killed then he did yet, they are going to follow his idiotic choices. he didn't show his skills in sharp shooting or leadership. He's just a normal guy which means anyone can take his spot because he just kind of sucks. And the general freaking out? what the hell was that? This book was horrible. I'm hoping the 3rd book will be better.

Worst protagonist ever

The first book was fun but still very cringe. This one was just cringe the main character is whiny and entitled and is a marry sue but then he gets thrown into a conspiracy we’re he doesn’t report this for no good reason
