hoping there are more books recorded. this started out slow but picked up shortly.

I love this series. She’s such a good writer and balances interesting storylines with a strong female lead, while avoiding the pitfalls of many in the genre.

None of the female characters are jealous or threatened by other women’s looks or just because.

The male love interests don’t treat them like flowers to be rescued or meat, but can still be sweet and protective.

The idea behind the book is unique and not your typical book. It’s mainly focused on witches/magic with other elements of shape shifters, vampires, demons etc thrown in.
