This book is simply a classic of modern discipleship studies. The way that it encourages the reader to pay attention to Jesus, not merely as a way to become safe in the face of the dangers of sin and death, but also to become fruitful in a life of discipleship and ministry is nothing less than extra extraordinary. Others have written strong books on discipleship, but I have never read one that touches the edges of this book for excellence. Simply an entirely superb.

Dr. Coleman book is a masterpiece. It is classic but unless you’ve read this book you have no idea the treasure that it really is. What is discussed here and its pages is what is missing in the Western Church today. Please read it and enact the Master’s plan in your life. It will do what it has always done…change the world.
