Publisher's summary

"He’s a challenge - and I like a challenge."

Walter Rogue is a shark. At the age of 19, he took his father's crumbling business and built it into a massive tea empire - but 15 years on and the luster has worn off. He’s bored. And when the opportunity presents itself for him to apply a little pressure to the man who'd wrecked his plans for property expansion, Walter thinks that it's just the sort of cat and mouse game to bring some excitement into his life.

"I’m not giving up on my dreams - not even for Walter Rogue."

Arlo Stone is determined to succeed in the tea-cafe business. He owes it to his late grandfather to see their shared dreams through. Unfortunately, he's expanded too quickly, and unless he can find a quick source of cash to tide him over, he's at risk of losing his entire operation. When he's recruited by the Billionaire Club to date one of their rich patrons, Arlo thinks his cash flow troubles might be over.

It's just supposed to be a business deal. Neither man counts on falling in love.

Welcome to the Billionaire Club, where men of certain means are able to match themselves with high-quality singles who agree to a relationship bound by contract. This steamy BDSM audiobook features enemies who fall in love, a mistaken identity, and a wealthy man humbled the all-encompassing power of true love. This audiobook and every other audiobook in the Billionaire's Consort series can be listened to in any order.

A bit disappointing

Missed opportunity for an emotionally compelling story. The plot structure was fine, but the relationship development entirely missed the mark. I did not feel connected to the characters or invested in their outcome. Won’t be reading the rest of the series.

Loved the storyline!

I really enjoyed this story and I thought Arlo and Walter were the cutest in their fumbling to find each other!! I'm really into the whole Billionaire/Regular Joe premise so I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.

LOVE HAS NO ROOM FOR BETRAYAL; IT DOES FOR FORGIVE

This book doesn’t seem to follow its title. The story is wonderful as Walter tries to play Arlo for his company but finds that Arlo is not what he thought he would be. Betrayal, lies and love lead to a very steamy story. Welcome to the Club. I really liked the way that Arlo stood up for himself and the way Walter set about fixing his dilemma.

The narrator did a wonderful job of separating the men’s voices and making one believe he was the characters telling their tales.

Tea for two

I liked the story well enough, but I thought something was missing. There were plenty of people in this book that can have spin off story's . That in itself is intriguing. The two main characters were well established and made for a good combination. I think there needed to be a bit more in the latter part of the book that would tie Walter and Arlo together.
I would recommend this book to Adult listeners.

Cute Story

Walter and Arlo are business rivals even though Arlo doesn't realize it when they meet. I really wish Walter would have been more forthcoming with the truth and he's lucky Arlo is so forgiving. I really admire Arlo's determination to succeed even when faced with hard times and a great offer. The narrator did a good job with the portrayal of the charcaters and the story itself. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

Great Narration, Ok story

The story was OK, I feel like some things just weren't explained sufficiently and it was a bit predictable. Not bad just nothing completely spectacular, there are some interesting side characters who I am curious about their stories. The narration on the other hand was done really well and is what kept me listening to the end.

Walter & Arlo

Walter's motivation with his successful business is to separate himself from his terrible father. Arlo's motivation is the loving care of his grandfather and their dreams of a tea shop. They do not travel in the same circles, but a meeting of the two may lead to more. Walter starts the relationship unevenly with the goal to take Arlo's business from him. The narrator did a great job.

Walter was a disappointment

I was so disappointed in Walter withholding the "info" from Arlo on the third date. Devastated beyond measure! Major trust issues!! I was glad Walter made some changes. but still disappointed with his initial lack of integrity to Arlo! The heart wins in the end. I enjoyed the narrator's voice and expressions.

Fun listen :)

I really enjoyed this story and look forward to the rest of the series :) the narration was good only a few times where I had trouble keeping up with which MC was which because the voice didn’t sound different enough. Soft D/S wouldn’t have minded more of the D/S part of their dynamic :)
