Publisher's summary

Team Grendel is out of options.

With a mysterious enemy destroying their refuges, the crew of the Beowulf III is forced to seek sanctuary on an island that wants nothing more than to kill them all, an island that is pure death and evil.

While Ballantine struggles to find them a less deadly option, Team Grendel must risk their lives to help a teammate. Something is wrong with Darby and an answer must be found before it is too late. But finding that answer may mean not all of them will make it out.

Fear! Death! Terror! Blood!

Nothing is right, nor will it ever be again, when Grendel and the crew land on Murder Island.

Stranger and Stranger

I’d say this is my least favorite of the Team Grendel books. I agree with others that say the ending feels rushed. But still a great book overall.

Mega 5: going through the motions

The author is awesome but Mega series started strong but each book has been a little less entertaining then the one before. Listening to it feels a bit like watching reruns of a show you like. The series is getting to predictable and unless I can find the next one free at a library, will give up on it.

Loved the book

Long awaited and very pleased... Yet I found a few parts questioning... The action and suspense were all there.

alright until the end.

ive gone through a lot of jake bibles books laterl, and mega series is only one i really liked. but this one is just... meh. the story just sort of idles before crapping itself. we are promised a huge reveal on some of the secrets of whats going on... and they are just kind explained by "he told them the whole story" and thsts all we get. screws to that. this book was a foot drag and the promise of some clue of whats going on made it a reason to go through. but then nothing is explained.

bullshit.

that said, narrator is awesome as usual.
