About this listen

"A thrilling, pulse-pounding addition to the genre with compelling science and a frightening twist." (Nicholas Sansbury Smith, NY Times and USA Today best-selling author of the Extinction Cycle and Hell Divers series)

This audiobook contains the first four audiobooks of the Tide series, filled with post-apocalyptic action, suspense, and intrigue.

A devastating bioweapon will change the face and fate of humanity as we know it.

Captain Dominic Holland leads a crew of skilled covert operatives and scientific personnel aboard a clandestine ship dedicated to fighting chemical and biological warfare. Their missions have taken them across the world to combat sinister plots and dangerous adversaries. But their next assignment is more dangerous than any they faced before.

Far off the Eastern Coast of the US, intelligence officers discover a covert laboratory on an abandoned oil rig with unspeakable horrors. Twisted creatures wash ashore across the country. Hospitals are overrun by patients suffering from an incurable disease with terrifying symptoms.

Dom and his team may be the only ones equipped to find out why. They embark on a globe-trotting race to unravel the apocalyptic mystery behind the bioweapon destroying civilization.

But will their efforts be enough to turn the tide - or is humanity’s fate already sealed?

"TERRRRRIBLE NARRATION"!!!!

I read and listen to alot of books like this. but I got to chapter 4 and litteraly could not stand to listen to the narrator for one more second. it's supposed to be a novel of action and suspense but this guy is like listening the your grandmother read a sad story full of overly sympathetic characters. everything is over breathy, soft voiced and unbelievable! no conveyance of believable emotion, strife or strength in a single character. read the real book don't waste your time listening to this!

Last Ship + World War Z= The Tide (only better)

I absolutely loved the four books in the series and I cannot wait to start reading the 5th. one of the things that I really enjoyed about this book, was that the author uses correct technical terms but still doesn't make it feel overbearing for someone who may not know the difference. For example, when he talks about someone reloading their weapon, he uses the correct term of magazine for that particular weapon rather than clip which most people tend to use incorrectly. that is just one small example of the many reasons I find this series to be amazing. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of military action thrillers and also zombie style sci-fi.

Second verse same as the first

This series could have been wrapped up in 2 books. It gets very repetitive especially in the final two books.

Great book and great narration.

I love this series, can't stop listening. Descriptions help paint the scenes. Another great post apocalyptic series.

love this series!!!

The story line is like a black hole, it sucks you in and won't let go. Anthony Malchiorri has found a new niche in the post apocalyptic genre. From beginning to end, you just have to know what happens next.

Loved it

I am a huge fan of this genre, military-zombie-apocalypse. I would recommend this series for people who enjoyed the Extinction Cycle series and the Arisen series.

The book is fast paced and exciting. I loved the characters and the dialogue.
The narrator is very good as well.

We both tried

The author tried to write a good book but just didn't quite make it. I tried to read this book and didn't quite make it. We both made a good effort though. It wasn't necessarily bad, there just wasn't much substance. There is hardly any focus on character building or world building. Nothing but dumb action. Constant fight scene after fight scene with monsters that are extremely unbelievable just makes this a story I can do without.
Just an observation. I am going to guess that the author's favorite color is crimson. I am not exaggerating when I say he described the color of blood the same hundreds of times and it was always crimson. Crimson Crimson Crimson!!!!
