Publisher's summary

Dancing with fire is only dangerous if you’re scared.

Sorcha Kelly lives her life on the edges of society, allowing her whims to take her where they will, feasting on new experiences as though she is at a sumptuous buffet. But one electrifying night with an intoxicating stranger leaves Sorcha with more than she bargained for—the power to make fire at will and an insatiable desire to find the man who upended her carefree life.

Torin has never planned to take a wife. As part of the Royal Court of the Fae, he’s neatly escaped the confines of marriage by refusing to allow any woman to get too close. And then there was Sorcha. Fiercely beautiful, mercurial, and passionate, Torin shocked himself by claiming her as his own the first night they met.

Now, the Fire Fae have staged a revolt, wreaking havoc across Ireland and throwing the natural world out of balance. Torin must choose—find his fated mate—or save Ireland from impending doom?

Exceptional book!

Tricia's books never fail to intrance me. I love the idea of magic and I do believe there are things we cannot explain. Thank you, Tricia again for the break inreality.

Finding Yourself!

Wow! Great background story about a woman whose family treated her as an outsider. Turns out, she wasn't a blood relative. Read the story to find it all out! Wonderful magic in play!

A fun new twist.

This was a great storyline. I wish there was more. But for now I will listen to another book by the great O’Malley and dream away of fairies, merfolk and islands. Thank you for a great escape.

beautiful fairytale

I love the story of a woman who grew up with heartache as a daily companion, but used that pain to be better for the people in her life. Strength isn't necessarily a literal description. Heart strength can often carry many more people through hardships than physical strength alone. This series describes those kinds of women, but with a fairytale flavor.
Great writing, beautiful character arc and a story that equally balanced action scenes with tales of human nature. lovely stories to listen to as a series or stand alone novels.

Astounding

I really enjoyed this second in the series! My only complaint is perhaps it’s a little shorter in length than I prefer!! I enjoyed the duel narrators, though I think I enjoyed the female a little better than the male, I love books set In Ireland that are paranormal/fantasy and have a background of undertones of romance! The romance is done well, and the story of the Fae world intertwining with the human world is very refreshing! I love the theme of “fated mates” much like a twin flame or a soul mate, I found this very appealing and can’t wait for the release of book 3 for a conclusion hope you Enjoy as much as I did!

It’s a No for Me

Besides the fact this book is repetitive in nature and not very creative, i really tried to like it. I could not stand the way the two narrators pronounced the lead females name in 2 different ways. That grated my nerves. Also I didn’t care much for this book I was disappointed for most of it. It was weak and unsophisticated storytelling IMO. I like book 1 good enough to go to book 2. I will skip #3.

It’s ok

A little cringy just bc it’s so corny and predictable.. the narrators do not do the opposite sex well at all, in my opinion and the both have a cadence to their voice that bothered me some.. not horrible but FMC are made out to be super selfish and self righteous and it became really annoying. I get it independence and all but jeez.. then the whole thing about the sister and it being his reason for leaving it wasn’t enough for me… anyway some may love it but it fell short for me
