About this listen

When opposites attract, it’s messy… and perfect

From the moment Clover crashes into my life, she turns my world upside down. She’s quirky and fun—unlike any woman I’ve ever known.

Her wild ideas pull me out of my comfort zone, and I love the way she makes me feel. But her free spirit longs to roam, and I don’t know if she can do the one thing I really need. Stay. I’m sure fate led me to Jetty Beach, but until I meet Cody Jacobsen, I’m not sure why. The small-town doctor—with his gorgeous body, ridiculous dimples, and adorable bedside manner—sweeps me off my feet and saves the day. Literally.

Our chemistry is off the charts. But to a man like him—mature and put together—I’m a wild breeze who throws him off kilter. And for a woman like me—who never truly lets anyone in—he might want more than I can give. He might want everything.

Story and narration both amazing!

I ❤️ this audiobook before and I ❤️ it even more with the new narrators. JF Harding and Rose Dioro are on my favorites list.

Also props to Claire Kingsley for accurately describing what really happens in the hospital. The surgeon partially pulls off the dressing, looks at the wound and steps away. The nurse completely removes the old dressing and applies a new one. Truth! 🙌🏻

Love and fate

I loved this opposites attract, love at first sight, forced proximity romance. This heartwarming story had the perfect balance of humor, heartwarming love, real life issues, and spice and it was beautiful to watch this story unfold. Clover is an optimistic free spirited woman. After getting fired from her latest barista job for being clumsy and getting a sign from the universe, she makes her way to small townJetty Beach to start anew. Cody is a doctor in Jetty Beach. He is settled and stable. Clover’s first night in town she gets knocked in the head by the tray of a waiter just as she locks eyes with Cody. Since she has a concussion and nowhere to stay, Cody brings her to his house until she is recovered enough to resume her regular life. Of course, chemistry, connections, and feelings are hard to resist but to get to their HEA there was some baggage unpacking and some angst. The story was well written and included engaging dialogue, characters with dimension who grow and a swoony storyline. I’ll definitely be reading more of this heartwarming series.

JF Harding and Rose Dioro did a good job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.
