Great wisdom

I’ve always been a fan of minimalism, both because clutter is annoying and because getting rid of things we no longer need is a somewhat freeing experience. Sometimes I drift away from that practice, however, which is why I often return to books on the subject.

This one helped me reconnect to the concept, reminding me that quality is what’s important in terms of what we own — not quantity. As the audiobook states, when we let go of what we no longer need, we make room for that which we do.

There are countless, similar lessons in this short, powerful listen, all of which are helpful and insightful. I’d recommend that almost anyone in this consumer-driven society we live in give it a spin.

Practical, Thoughtful, Revitalizing

Since COVID, our house has become a nightmare of clutter, messes and digital dependency. I've been looking for an audiobook that easily breaks down applicable methods/steps for achieving a more balanced lifestyle, and how to move away from screen time into the moment - this book does exactly that.

It provides functional approaches to not only step away from our digital addictions, but how to remain productive and balanced while doing so. The principles laid out are important for people in pretty much every walk of life, and I plan on passing down many of these lessons to my kids as well.

The chapters are broken down intuitively and the narrator is well paced and easy to listen to. For anyone looking to find peace in the moment, at home and with the family, I would highly recommend this title!

Good information in overcrowded market

I have listened to several audiobooks on the minimalism and found this to be one of the most useful. The author does an excellent job of presenting the information. I did a similar exercise the last time I moved, and in theory, it seems easy. This book approaches the subject uniquely. Hint: It's all about mindset. The narrator does a good job presenting the information.
A must-listen for anyone interested in minimalism.

Great way to spark joy

I loved all the practical ideas in this audiobook! The book is well-organized and simple to understand. It motivated me to purge most of my books and now I'm rethinking everything. Recommended it to my sister.

Good book!

This book gives good advice on how people can use the topic of minimalism in their lives. Actionable steps and techniques are payed out in an easy and digestible way. In a world where there is such a high stress level, especially in corona times, a book like this is a good guidance tool on how to reduce that stress by decluttering, organizing your home and using more of a minimalist approach in the digital world. Recommend!

Really facinating book

I learnt a lot from reading this book. Its opened my eye to so many different areas of reducing clutter from financial to my day to day routines. I especially loved the chapter on Digital Minimalism. Its fascinating how addicted we have become to certain types of technology and this book gives some sound strategies to become more mentally independent. Great read, thank you!

Excellent minimalism resource!

I absolutely love this book! I have been interested in minimalism, decluttering & getting rid of extra possessions for a couple of years now. Although I’ve made great strides in moving to a simpler life, I had come to a standstill. This book has helped me to identify exactly what has been holding me back (mentally) and has armed me with specific, actionable steps (physically) that will carry me to the next level. I especially enjoyed the many examples of others who have been living lives of minimalism and how they overcame obstacles in their way.
