About this listen

From New York Times best-selling author S.L. Scott comes a romantic suspense stand-alone that will have you on the edge of your seat and swooning over this new sexy alpha billionaire.

Six-foot-three. Dynamic green eyes. Utterly irresistible. Ethan Everest stole my breath the first time I saw him. He romanced me with skill, dazzled me with his charisma, and proceeded to steal my heart right after. I might have fallen for his easy-going smile the first time we met, but I fell for him the second time.

Honey-colored hair. Cherry-kissed lips. Captivatingly gorgeous. Singer Davis was the first, and only, woman to ever intimidate me. She spoke to my heart with her wit, seduced me with her eyes, and became the only thing that made sense in a world that made none. I let her slip through my fingers once. I won’t make that mistake twice.

Secrets broke us apart. Can a second chance bring us back together?

Emotional

Someone else wrote this was an emotional rollercoaster and I immediately thought urgh this is going to be all angsty so I procrastinated purchasing it. Well I was wrong, this WAS an emotional rollercoaster... I laughed, I swooned, I cried and I simply loved every moment.

Amazing story must read

You had me, I didn't want the story to end.
You had me feel the love, tears, sad, lonely, surprise, frightening, fighting, friends, stories, parents, sister, parties, safety, stubbornness, disobey, laughter, happiness, anger, hate, acceptance, drunk, morning, beer, loyal, jealousy, chess, passion, love making, sex.
I think of captured everything if I missed something you'll understand you must read the story.

6+ stars

Fantastic writing, complex characters, beautiful love story, and a sprinkling of mystery and suspense. The narration made this story so much more. Ava Erickson as Singer Davis brought layers upon layers of emotion to each scene. Sebastian York as Ethan Everest had me on the edge of my seat with how emotional (and sexy) he made him.

From the moment you open Everest, you are captivated, not only by the man but the woman that catches his attention. Ethan Everest is intelligent, giving, kind. funny, and absolutely smitten with Singer Davis. Singer Davis, like most women, is drawn to Ethan Everest. His good looks and ability to make you feel like the most important person in room is intriguing.

After a chance meeting, Ethan and Singer's paths continue to cross. Each harbors an affection for the other but circumstances dictate they shouldn't pursue the obvious connection. Nobody ever said love makes you smart. Throwing caution to the wind, Ethan and Singer take a leap of faith and the result is a beautiful story.

This is a beautifully crafted story with narrators that take it to the next level.

Everest

One of the best books I've enjoyed on Audible. I was captivated, it was hard to put down. Confession, it was the second time i had listened. The first time i had not really paid attention to the words, but the second time Everest had all my attention and i enjoyed it.

A story that stays with you for days to come!!!

The stories that S.L. Scott writes are magical! Everest is a book that will captivate you and make you fall for these characters. There is romance, but there is also danger lurking in the dark. You heart rate speeds up and you are trying to figure out what is next. I loved this audio book because Sebastian and Ava bring Everest and Singer to life! You never get bored. These two are animated and make you feel you are in the same room as them. Great book and I am excited what else S.L. Scott will bring to the audio world!

One of the best books I have listened to in a while. I loved everything about Ethan. I was sucked into the story from the beginning and couldn’t stop listening. I will definitely listen to it again.

A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!

This book surprised me. I often find that many books I listen to are not memorable. This one will stay with me for a long time. Very well written.

As much as I loved reading this book, listening to it was even better. Sebastian York and Ava Erickson have an amazing way of bringing the characters to life. You wont be disappointed.
