pretty good

one small spoiler ahead, though if you read book 2 it won't be.
so of course he finds out who brought over from earth, he finds out he died there... but then flips out like a child and almost goes full murder hobo. Keep in mind the guy on earth was a an emotional and physical wreck, and literal shut in and shunned monster where everyone abandoned him or died around him. He also stated that his life on the new world was better, he has friends lovers and a superhuman body. SO WHY GET PISSED OFF WHEM YOU FIND OUT YOU'RE DEAD IN YOUR OTHER BODY?!?!?
that seemed like a lame reason to create extra drama, either that, or the forgot the direction they were going.

Excellent

Fantastic book with superb narration. The story still has a lot of fun room to grow in all sorts of new directions, and I can’t wait to be a part of the journey!

Worth your time and treasure

I went back and listened to the first one. Still a really good opener to a series. This, the second entry, is everything a sequel should be. What made the first book good and then more plus the improvement. I have read and listen to some of the other works by this author and in my opinion, she always does an amazing job. There's a nice contrast to the usual stuff that I listened to. I like how her characters are written and I like how the story develops. I'm definitely interested in seeing what happens next with this one. As of the time of this review the 3rd and 4th books are also available in eBook form. I can't wait for them to get the audio treatment. Time permitting, I won't wait and continue on with the eBooks. I recommend this series to anybody reading this review. And I can't end this review without applauding the performance of the narrator. Lastly, well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this book to us, the listeners.

Such a good series!

Warning: as of my latest listen there is still some issues with Chapter 9 but they may have a new upload by now. Stick it through because it’s worth it. The end was awesome and I can’t wait for the next one.

Great story

Definitely loved how the story flows. There were some glitches in the 9th chapter, but we reported it to the author and were told that it would be fixed. So if you're planning on starting the series it won't be something to worry about.

Thoroughly enjoyed this

Eden Redd is getting really good, and I love Sierra's voice, so this is an easy pick for me. If you liked the first book at all, the second is a great sequel.

technical glitches

Sierra Cline as always does a good job voicing Eden Redd's wonderful storytelling.

I am giving it a lower score because of glitches beginning in chapter nine. theree is a pause in narration accompanied by a sound like aclosing door. Either a word, or syllabel is dropped. This happens during an intense conversation between two characters and "takes me out of the moment." Also, it disrupts the story by leaving out important information. I am undecided if I will continue or not.
