About this listen

When a fae child goes missing, Colin is hired to bring him back. Now he has to crack the case, all while learning to control his shifter abilities under the watchful eye of the local werewolf alpha. But with half the pack against him and enemies at every turn, will his next misstep be his last?

The name's Colin McCool, but some call me the Junkyard Druid. I'm just your typical college student, living under a nasty fae curse that turns me into something unholy and deadly at the worst possible moments.

Like I said, typical.

Lately I've been taking odd jobs in the supernatural community, solving cases and hunting down things that go bump in the night. But this last job has really thrown me for a loop. A fae child went missing, and I've been hired to bring him back.

The good news is, the local alpha is teaching me how to control my ability to shift into that other, darker side of me. The bad news is, the deeper I get into this case the more twisted and sinister it becomes.

Let's just hope I can learn to control my Hyde-side and rescue that child...before the darker side of me takes over for good.

Exciting magic

Colin has matured since we first met him. He has accepted the responsibility of protecting humans from fae. The abduction and abuse of children was a hard motivator. Learning how to control his beast is just one step in preparing to keep humans safe.

To be all that he can be, Colin made a pact with the werewolf pack. From the wolves he hopes to learn how to control the change. Samson, the pack leader, is looking to the future of his pack for survival. One of the ways to do that is building relationships, hence, he is working with Colin. In doing so, this makes division within the pack.

The Dark Druids killed Jesse and his father. Exacting revenge and for self-perseveration, he must control his beast. Many shifters have a difficulty to accept they are not human. For Colin that is exacerbated because his beast in the effect of a cursed. It is not something that he wanted, and it has caused him heartache.

Always being wary of fae, Colin must still have the help/support of Maeve the fae queen. The abduction of human children, must be stopped.

Colin is throwing magic and wolves are shifting. There is action, magic, treachery and suspense in the story. There aren't any vampires in this story. This story has good illustration in how an alpha's magic work. Enjoy this story because it is great.
