Publisher's summary

The long struggle is over at last. The demon dactyl is no more, its dark sorceries shattered by the gemstone magic wielded by the woman known as Pony. But victory has not come easily. Many lives were lost, including Pony’s lover, the elf-trained ranger Elbryan Wynden.

Despite the dactyl’s demise, the kingdom still seethes in the same cauldron of plots and machinations. But when a deadly sickness suddenly appears among the people of Corona, Pony must undertake a pilgrimage that will test her powers—and her faith—as never before. Watching her every step of the way is the man she hates above all else: Marcalo De’Unnero, the villain responsible for Elbryan’s death... who would desire nothing more than to lead Pony down that same treacherous path to destruction.

The wheels are in motion to begin the selection process to determine the new Father Abbot for the Abellican Church. Prince Midalis and Bruinhelde travel with the Ranger Andacanavar to seal their blood-brothering by confronting the monstrous Shaggoth. The Rosy Plague tightens its grip across the land and Marcalo De'Unnero uses the potent mixture of fear and panic it produces to further the agenda of his newly formed Brothers Repentant.

And in Andur'blough Inninness, Juraviel begins the tutelage of a new Ranger....

The Rosy Plague has swept the land—even Ranger Andacanavar's far-off country of Alpinador has seen its blight- and it may only be a matter of time before the elven Touel'Alfar themselves fall to the deadly disease. Rioting sweeps the cities, instigated by Marcalo De'Unnero's Brothers Repentant and abetted by Duke Tetrafel's own Allheart Brigade. Can Jilseponie Wyndon find a way to conquer both the madness of men and the biological devastation of nature?

background noise too loud

Great story and voice acting. only problem was, especially during battle scenes, the background noise was too loud and drowned out the actors, making the dialogue and some narration inaudible.

demon wars: Covid

performance was excellent as always. had many excellent moments, but seemed like more of a standalone story rather than furthering the overall narrative.
