These are a really entertaining series of books and this one is no exception. Barbara Rosenblat does a terrific job of reading and Mrs. Pollifax is a great character.Any additional comments?
This old lady kicks butt! A very entertaining character, intelligent, creative and likeable. These books are like candy. I'm going to listen to every one of them.A Really Fun Book and Series

Where does Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I like this series because Mrs Polifax is kind, caring, fun loving, smart and way too strong for her age. So the series in general is in my top 80%. This book alone is in the top 70% because most of the characters had the same MO.The story picks up with many of the characters from the previous book (Mrs. Pollifax on the China Station).
Mrs. Polifax gets an urgent assignment to find out what is going wrong in Hong Kong with an agent she recommended. Things take a dark turn involving torture (nothing too explicit, descriptions are about what has happened once Mrs Polifax wakes up from being tortured, not a play by play as it happens). The word terrorist gets used a bit too often to describe the Taiwan bad guys, which is out of the norm for this series, but that's my only complaint. The pace is steady, great take on the historical issues during this period, and Mrs Polifax's husband makes a great addition.
