About this listen

It seems Jaine's life couldn't get any better - until her cat, Prozac, is tapped to star in a Skinny Kitty commercial. But Jaine never would have guessed the world of cat food could be quite so catty. Jaine is nervous that Prozac won't be able to take direction, but the finicky furball ditches her diva behavior for the camera, eating and napping on cue like a seasoned pro.

But just as Jaine begins dreaming of fame and fortune, Skinny Kitty's inventor drops dead on the set. Everyone is a suspect - including Jaine. And she'll have to get her paws on the truth before the killer takes a swipe at another victim.

Sweet little murder-mystery with a fat cat in a commercial and all the twists and turns come together neatly in the end. Cozy. Enjoyed it!

It was an easy listen...

Laura Levine does it again. Murder Has Nine Lives is fresh, funny and entertaining. The mystery is well done with creative ideas. I love that Candy was back. I have missed her from the previous books. Jaine's dates with Jim were hilarious and cringe worthy. I love this series and can't wait for the next book.

Hilarious

These books are perfect for anyone who loves cats, mystery, and a good laugh!! I love this cozy mystery series. The author writes unique but believable characters and the narrator does a fantastic job of bringing them to life!

This particular edition is one of the funniest, and with a most shocking ending too! Well, it kept me guessing anyway. As always, Jaine's wacky parents (they mean well haha!) keep you entertained. Jaine is dating her most outrageous guy yet - seriously, you don't want to miss this! Great read.

One of the best yet!

As always, this can be a standalone. The humor is there and so are the favorite characters- emails from Jaine’s parents, Prozac, BFF Candy, and even Lance. It is so great to witness the growth of this series. Each installment gets better and better.

I've read or listened to all previous novels in this series. They're decent reads. Her commenting about her weight and eating become a bit redundant, but they're pretty suspenseful until the end.

A bit dramatic, but a decent listen

I enjoyed this book and the narrator's presentation. The book keeps your attention to the end. The characters are funny and familiar. This is the second book by Miss Levine I have enjoyed. I would recommend this author to anyone who needs to escape for a few hours into a world of mystery.
