When her husband is arrested for murder, Audrey wants to help find the real murderer. She has a special ability which could help but the Bow Street Inspector does not want her help.

The complications made the mystery hard to solve and therefore more enjoyable. I like your characters very much.

Really enjoyed seeing both the Ton & working class folks through these two characters. The supernatural aspect is written in a believable way & the chemistry between the two main characters is palpable. Enjoyed the twist at the end as well regarding the murder. Super well done! Can’t wait to read/listen to the rest of the series!

What an interesting wrinkle. Good mystery, good narration of all the characters, and then the secrets: or should I call them twists. So I’m going for the next book to see how the twists develop. Recommend, take the chance, nicely done.

This series has been my new fave and I was super happy to see the audible come up for book one. I really enjoyed the narration, and the only downside is it makes me want the next books right now! Interesting mystery, some oh no don't do that and the beginnings of smolder in a slow burn romance.

I’m about halfway through but I think I’ve heard enough to leave my review. I’m somebody who has to rewind and relisten as I often get distracted and pay no attention to the book but the author does a great job of pulling me back in before it can get to that point. The characters are interesting and always working on some new detail instead of rehashing or drawing out one interesting thing for multiple chapters. The narrator doesn’t distract from the story. All in all a good read so far, hopefully I haven’t spoken too soon but I doubt that’ll be the case. I got this book on a whim during the two for one October special but I think I’ll be purchasing the rest of the series as well.

Good story. Looking forward to the next book. Characters are well developed and believable. The circumstances of the women married to a Gay man could have been taken from today’s headlines.
