When Lady Cathrine summoned her before dawn, Elizabeth knew it was going to be a terrible day. She was expecting a tirade of epic proportions; she was not expecting Lady Cathrine to drop dead. Elizabeth's shock at the woman's poisoning paled in comparison to the revelation that Mr. Darcy had been harboring feelings for her.
Despite his usual stoicism, Darcy found himself consumed by love for Elizabeth Bennet and knew he had to devise a plan to win her affections. When his aunt dies unexpectedly, Elizabeth and Darcy embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind her death. If they work together, he might even have the opportunity to make Elizabeth see him in a new light and earn her love.
Amidst the chaos of chasing a murderer, can Elizabeth and Darcy still experience the euphoria of falling deeply in love?
Authors Note: If you like your romance sweet and with a side of intrigue, this Pride and Prejudice variation is for you. Murder on a Wednesday is a is a standalone HEA, where the road to true love is complicated by assumptions and murder.

Good if you think of this as a mystery

I really like this author’s writing. She writes insightful passages, both verbal and interior dialogue that I enjoy reading. The mystery kept me listening to find out how the murder was carried out, we were all pretty sure who dunnit. I came to really appreciate Lady Catherine here, or sympathize with her.
The story could be tightened up just a smidge.
It’s going to come down to whether you will tolerate the virtual voice. It’s not going away. I’m not fond of it. My reason for listening won’t sway anyone. But it’s great JAFF.
