A second chance at love or heartbreak…

Socially awkward and prone to accidents, Franny Dawson has a brand new project—herself. Owning the local bakery, The Sweet Spot, has taken all her time and energy and she's neglected the social aspects of her life. The small lakeside town of Granite Cove, New Hampshire, is full of quirky residents eager to help and hinder her new plan.

Mitch Atwater, an award-winning director, returns to town. He has an agenda of his own and is wreaking havoc with her goals and her heart.

Can Franny outwit her nemesis, overcome her perfect sister's surprise return, and escape the cocoon of her own insecurities to take a chance on love and get her very own happily ever after?

Narrator

The narrators voice was very painful to listen to. Not a bad story, but it didn't catch my attention like I thought.it would.

Loved loved loved

Such a funny great story. The narrator made me laugh and gasp. I felt the same mother/daughter/sister/boyfriend emotions. Loves the different text of dialogue she gave each character. Can’t wait till the next narration!

Cute story - LOVED this narrator!

This is a Hallmark type story, for sure. Narrator did a great job with the character voices and making me laugh out loud!

I was not ready for this story to end!

I could really relate to Franny. Her insecurities and social awkwardness made her quite endearing. I loved seeing how things unfolded when her childhood crush came back to town.

This sweet story by Denise Carbo really surprised me. I was so drawn in that I forgot I was listening to a book. Please give us more from Granite Cove.

Laura English’s performance was well done. She really brought out each of the characters personalities.

Annoying Narrator

I've been listening to books for years and this book was so difficult to get through because of the very annoying intimations made with her voice. I made it through the book but it was painful. I will make a note of her and avoid her in the future. I am really surprised other reviewers have not mentioned this. Avoid. Read the story, it was good

I’m a fan

This is not the type of book I would normally listen to, but I found myself pleasantly amused. The narrator and her accents drew me in from the start. Some parts reminded me of my own klutzy life and I had to laugh.
Is the next one done yet ??
