This one was better than the last one. The ending on the murder mystery part was very good. I did not see it coming. The final ending of the book was disappointing. It felt like an ending for a soap opera. String you along to see what happens in the next book??? I do not have patience for that.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading listening to all four of the books in this series! The narration was amazing and it was hard to believe only one narrator was reading it!

Have really enjoyed all of the books in this series, read this one in three days. Good writing, plot, narration and great characters. The setting in each book is always so well done which adds a special depth to stories. Looking forward to more.

Excellent continuation of this series

I’ll start by saying I love this series. I think the narration is absolutely top notch. That being said, and without giving any spoilers, it felt like the last third of the story is completely disjointed and lazy. The characters do things that make no sense, specifically the things that Barbara does that put her in danger twice. It reads almost like the author spent 90% of their time writing the first two-third of the book and rushed through the last third to make a deadline. I’ll keep listening to the series but the author needs to figure out how they botched the last third of this one.

I was sooo looking forward and actually pre purchased this book.. I’m so trying to finish this book and not get my $$ back because I keep thinking it’s got to get better… I’m more than 3/4s done… what the hell. I’m actually super annoyed at this book. So unlike the others. Hopefully the author can get a grip and write some amazing books again🤞🩷
