About this listen
I wasn’t a good person. Even amnesia couldn’t erase the fact that deep inside, there was a darkness I couldn’t deny. Flashes of strangers—of violence—heighten a mystery impossible to unravel. The man I called my best friend landed an ax in my head trying to save himself. He says I’m dangerous. He may be right.
Until memories return, I don't care. There's only one person familiar to me. His sister, Lucy. She's the only thing that matters now. Where I once kept myself at a distance, this new world I've awoken to revolves solely around her. Lucy is mine. She’s always been mine. No one is going to stand in the way of that.
It is believed, the loss of one’s memory can be a fresh start. What they don’t tell you is not all beginnings are derived from good things.
*****WARNING***** This book contains EXTREMELY disturbing situations and EXCEEDS the dark genre. May contain triggers for some. Listen at your own risk!!

5 Pitch Black stars
I loved this book but listening to it gave it so much more. Listening to this audio gave me so many chills Daniel Lewis showed the perfect blend of obsession and psycho. I want to say I almost forgot how bad Boston Marks was but listening to the audio I felt him gaslighting me to defend all his actions. I followed all the red flags down the rabbit hole and even when he was doing the most horrible things I was like it's okay I'll allow it. and Kasi Hollowell is the perfect Lucy her voice is so absolutely amazing she shows her innocence and love for Boston even when maybe she should have listened to that little internal voice, but hey I did it too.
Gonna warn you if you have triggers stay clear if this one. Boston is a bad guy through and through but If you love dark romance with a character that maybe able to con you into believing he's the good guy this one is for you. you'll love Boston Marks I mean who doesn't want a guy that will do everything to keep you.
