Critic reviews

"Narrator John Rubinstein brings to life Jonathan Kellerman's dynamic duo of psychologist Alex Delaware and gruff, gay, and always hungry Detective Milo Sturgis.... Rubinstein exercises his many talents in giving voice to the lead characters and to a host of secondary characters who are victims and suspects... In perfect sync with Kellerman's tone and pace, Rubinstein provides a truly engaging listening experience." (AudioFile)

Alex Delaware never fails for an excellent story!

Kellerman writing and Rubenstein narrating provide wonderful entertainment. As usual Milo Sturgis and Alex work well together. Appearances by Robin and Blanch, though brief, help make the story more human.

Another great Alex Delaware/Lt Milo Sturgis collaboraton

I really love this series and it never disappoints! The usual twisted mystery & murder with the excellent voice of John Rubinstein! (He’s a great actor too, btw!) Not a boring moment and all the expected but surprising turns of events! You’ll love it!

Super story.

As always all of the Jonathan Kellerman books are great. I especially love his Alex Cross books. Well worth the listening.

Mean cop

I didn’t much like Milo in this story. He seemed to be more rude than normal. Other than that the story was good

Kellerman’s books just get better.

I read all of Kellerman’s books as they came out. He was one of my favorite authors. For some unknown reason I stopped getting his new ones. Now enjoying audiobooks, I got all the new ones I missed, then listened to them all. I see now how much better the books have gotten. Though I gave them all 5 stars. This author is a “must read!”

Night Moves was a great audio read.

Alex Delaware & Milo Sturgis do it again. They're are my favorite psych \detective crime solving duo. Their stories are always worth reading or listening too. I love the narration.

John Rubinstein is the man

Jonathan Kellerman never fails to deliver in an Alex Delaware novel, but what makes the series for me is John Rubinstein's narration. I can't imagine anyone else bringing these characters to life other than Rubenstein. While I found some of the characters annoying (and that's the point) the story was well written and entertaining.
