About this listen

While on routine patrol, LAPD Officer Cindy Decker rescues a newborn abandoned in an alley dumpster. But she can't call it a night until she sees the infant safe in a hospital.

Now, the hunt is on for the mother, more than likely a scared, desperate girl in need of medical attention. Armed with advice from her over-worked detective father, Cindy searches through inner-city Hollywood, following a treacherous trail filled with violent gangs and drug lords.

With each new lead, the twisted journey becomes darker, battering Cindy's complex personal relationships and endangering her very life. When Decker and Decker join forces, can this edgy duo put aside personal issues long enough to catch a vicious culprit before he can strike again?

What happened? I always love the Kellerman books but this one was flat, predictable and unbelievable. The characters were week and immature. Even Decker was a shadow of himself. If this had been my first Kellerman there never would have been another. By all means read another of this couples book, just not this one

I always love Faye Kellerman…,,

I just needed a little more action and resolution to the ending. I need the story and rationales to be a bit more flushed out.

A bit anti-climatitic

Just finished listening to audiobook of Street Dreams. Something just didn’t work. Maybe too somber.

I don't care for the music playing over the talking; or better yet, why does a book have music? The story was good.

what fun to have a book about Cindy Decker. I know this series was published a while ago but I am just now reading it. Assuming the rest of the series do back to Decker/Lazarus, it would be nice to have a series about Cindy.

A great read. As always, she never disappoints. 1more installment in the family saga. Great!

Always love her books

This Kellerman novel focuses on Cindy Decker, Peter's daughter, who has been in the LAPD for 2 years. There are at least 2 plots, as usual with Kellerman, plus the great personal and family involvement that makes her books such enjoyable reads. Good narrator, also.

Great new character!

Decker series

The writing is quite juvenile, the book is drowning in cliches, the situations the author puts the characters in are often unrealistic, etc. I am very disappointed in the author and this terrible addition to the generally very good Decker/Lazarus series.

Don't bother
